Happy Senior Saturday! 🐶💙

Archi is the most handsome boy and he knows it! 😎 He made his way to Illinois this past weekend and has been settling in to his new foster home. Archi has done amazing meeting many new people and dogs. He is the definition of happy-go-lucky and is always sporting the biggest smile! 😁 Don’t let his age fool you, we took a mile long hike yesterday and he led the way! Archi likes to celebrate National Dog Day in style - as he should! 😎 Can you believe just a few months ago he was wandering the streets wondering where his next meal would come from. 🥺 Thanks to his foster, he’s been living in luxury with all the love, toys, treats and pjs he could ask for! ❤️ She even threw him an Archi Party over the weekend to celebrate his milestones and the next step in his adoption journey. 🎉 Archi will transport to IL this weekend and we can’t wait to welcome him!

Archi is approximately 10 yrs old and the perfect size at 35-40lbs. Don’t let his age fool you as he still has lots of s***k and loves to play! 🐾 He loves all people and is good with other dogs. Archi is crate trained, treat motivated and the ultimate cuddler. He is current on vet care, neutered, microchipped and will be fostered in Mount Carroll, IL. 🐶 Let’s find this senior gentleman a forever home to live out the rest of his days!

The wait is over and boy was it worth it! 😍 Addy waited patiently for 8 long months in foster and we are so happy to announce she’s finally been adopted! 🐶 She’s already livin’ it up, spending her days on the river and romping around with her new fur sibling Koda! 😎 Thank you to her adopters for giving her a second chance at life. ❤️ Happy Tails Addy!

The shelter is no place for a dog, let alone a senior. 😢 We saw a plea for 10 year old Archi and had to help! 🐶 Archi entered the shelter as a stray in pretty rough shape. Covered in fleas, malnourished and underweight. Thankfully, Montgomery County Animal Shelter Texas goes above and beyond for their animals and they got straight to work. Archi is on the mend ❤️‍🩹 and couldn’t have ended up in a better foster home. He is the sweetest boy and the definition of happy-go-lucky. We can’t wait to see his glow up and learn more about him.

We want to thank the staff and volunteers of the shelter for meeting these dogs, showing them love and giving them a fighting chance at a better life. 🥰 We also want to thank Archi’s foster family for providing him a safe and loving home while he waits for his forever family. His foster mom drove 6 hours round trip to pick him up! 🐾 Fostering is no easy task and we are forever grateful to those who trust us to guide them through the process and find the perfect homes for our rescued pups! & A big thank you to everyone who donated to Archi, shared his posts, and sent him well wishes. ❤️

Hi, my names Addy! 🐶 I am a 1 year old bundle of joy looking for my paw-fect home. My silly personality, mismatched ears and love for snuggling will surely win you over! I am super sweet and friendly. I love people and other playful dogs. I would thrive in an active home that will play with me and take me on adventures. 🐾 My foster mom says I’m smart and I’m working hard on learning manners and basic obedience, but sometimes I can be a wild child. 🤪 I am crate trained and polishing up my potty training skills. I love a good nap and will beat you to the couch to steal your spot and soak up all the cuddles and belly rubs. I am the goodest girl and hope to make the perfect addition to your home. Will you chews 🦴 me?
