Happy National Dog Day and Happy Tails to Obi! 🐶

Obi and his siblings came to us on 8/1 from an overly crowded shelter. Transport was hard on Obi and he had to be urgently taken to the Mt Carroll Veterinary Clinic shortly after arriving to his foster home. This is where he met Tessa, one of Mt Carroll’s vet techs and it was love at first sight! We cannot thank our wonderful vet clinic enough for fitting us in that day and to Tessa and her family for adopting sweet Obi! ❤️

Hi, my name is Buddy! 🐶

I am a 5 year old Chihuahua mix. My owner unfortunately had to go to a nursing home, so I am looking for a new forever home! I am a very cuddly, compassionate, and loyal dog. 💙 I am great with other dogs and cats and would enjoy another friendly, mellow companion. I love attention and affection from my humans the most! I am house/crate trained and listen well. I am up to date on all my shots, neutered, and just had blood work and a dental cleaning done. Everything came back great! Please consider me as your next companion, I will be your best friend!

❤️ Fosters - all vet care and supplies are covered and provided by us! We provide food, puppy pads, a loaner crate (if needed), toys, treats, collar, leash etc. You provide a safe, loving home until adoption!

🧡 Adopters - Puppies are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines/deworming/monthly prevention and microchipped. Hannah update! 🐶

“Hi Mariah, it’s been a while but I wanted to give a little update. We adopted miss Hannah TWO years ago and we continue to love her more and more each day. She has been and continues to be the perfect piece to our little family puzzle! Some things we have learned:
- MAJOR cuddle bug 🐛
- Loves to hoard shoes 👠
- Is an absolute ball of energy almost 24/7 🤪
- LOVES going for car/truck rides 🚙
- Would rather spend more time outside running & playing than anything 🌿
- Is very good at catching squirrels that come into her yard 🐿️
- Hates being alone and separated from her sister 🐶
- Loves chewing on bones 🦴
- Enjoys playing in the snow (even for a Texas girl) ❄️
- Her favorite toy to run around with is a bucket from Harbor Freight 🪣

I also wanted to share the results from a DNA test we did. We love seeing traits from each breed show in her personality. Banana is absolutely perfect in every aspect of who she is 🍌

Hi, my name is Buddy! 🐶

I am a 5 year old Chihuahua mix. My owner unfortunately had to go to a nursing home, so I am looking for a new forever home! I am a very cuddly, compassionate, and loyal dog. 💙 I am great with other dogs and cats and would enjoy another friendly, mellow companion. I love attention and affection from my humans the most! I am house/crate trained and listen well. I am up to date on all my shots, neutered, and just had blood work and a dental cleaning done. Everything came back great! They say I have a little extra fluff 🤭, so I am on the road to losing some weight. Please consider me as your next companion, I miss my owner and cant wait to settle into a loving home.
