We’ll always talk dog, a lot. But Jake and I want to introduce ourselves a little bit so that people get an idea of who has all these puppos! Jake is a coal miner and the back bone to it all. He has what I call a magic touch. No matter how mean or terrified a dog is, after a small amount of time they are in love with Jake. He is a miracle worker! I’m Bella! I will make most of the posts on here as Jake is a busy man! I am a Vet Tech and have always had a strong passion for animals! I grew up helping my dad on the farm and that love for animals never stopped growing! I love bringing in new dogs to our pack…. Sometimes even surprising Jake with them😅 we are both so thankful for you to be following our page and being apart of our journey! XOXO Jake and Bella 🐶

To go in order of the dogs joining the family! Our second rescue is miss Mable Caroline. Mable is a chihuahua mount curr mix! She was I believe 4 months old when we got her! We got her out of a ladies back yard, back where Jake is from! Mable was one of the MANY dogs this lady had! Mable is a sweetheart, she was Ellie maes baby for the longest time! They love to play in the snow together and mable always Eats part of Ellie’s food. Mable is a crazy dog when it comes to fetch. She could play for hours! She’s very demanding, and has to get belly rubs to put her to sleep every night! She is the best dog! She loves to help put the horses away and is such a good big sister to all our dogs! Her and Ellie are such good teachers to the rest of the pack. They keep everyone In line!!💕 Mable just turned 2 on September 20th!

We thought we’d first introduce to you all the reason we have decided to open a rescue. Miss Ellie Mae! I (Bella) rescued Ellie Mae when I was 16 years old. A friends boyfriend at the time signed the adoption papers for me since I wasn’t 18. I fell in love with Ellie because she has those eyes that can tell you she’s been through a lot, but also has a lot of love to give. Ellie Mae was severely abused in her past life. She was underweight, missing teeth, and traumatized when I got her. She was afraid of everything. We went to the Vet pretty well monthly, for her anxiety, her ear problems, I swear we kept that clinic in business 😂 Ellie is now soon to be 6 years old In December. She has been my best friend through it all. She completed high school with me, started college with me, moved into mine and Jake’s first apartment with us, and then a year later moved into our first home. Ellie enjoys swimming, playing with the horses, riding the 4-wheeler, naps, stealing food, and being a ”mom” to her 8 babies. Ellie has overcome most her fears. She now Isn’t traumatized of her own shadow. She doesn’t live a life full of anxiety anymore. Ellie is definitely “head” of the pack. She keeps her canine and feline children in check. Watching Ellie overcome the trauma her past left her, each and every day, inspired Jake and myself to help other dogs like her. Dogs who have had bad lives and are on the lower end with chances of being adopted. We love our Ellie and are thankful for her each and every day❤️

Hello everyone! We’re the Schoolcraft’s! We are currently working towards becoming an official licensed rescue! We have already rescued a few animals and love them all! While we’re working towards our license we thought we’d start a page to share stories and updates about our current babies! We are so very excited for you guys to follow along our journey with us!
