Palmetto will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday due to hurricane Milton. We intend to reopen on Friday. If you have a pet emergency, please contact the VEC in Oakland at (407) 644–4449. Prayers everyone is safe these next couple of days.

Hello Palmetto Family!

Due to the current storm track of Hurricane Milton, we will be closing at 4 p.m. this Tuesday, October 8th. If your pet requires chronic medications or prescription diet food, please call our office immediately, so that we can assist you in your hurricane preparation.

In addition, we will be closed this Wednesday, October 9th.

We may offer limited appointments for sick and emergent patients on Thursday, October 10th upon assessment of our hospital, power, and resources.

At this time, we plan to resume normal business hours on Friday, October 11th. If any changes occur, you can find updates on our social media.

Palmetto is the Veterinarian for the Lake County Sheriff K-9 unit/officers.
The Tragic event that happened August 2nd has the entire Sheriff's Department in our prayers.
We are so saddened to hear about this tragic loss and of the injured officers. If you would like to support Deputy Howell’s recovery here is the go fund me scan code.
