Had someone reach out to me today needing some help finding a new forever home for this German Shepherd.

Beau - 2.5yrs
80lbs, up to date on all shots. I have his papers, High ball drive,
E-collar trained & he can be off leash and does amazing. He is a very good boy! BUT he does have some aggression issues when it comes to his food or toys that will need to be addressed with some training. Will be best suited for a single person who will work with him.

What does obedience look like to you? What are your expectations when it comes to obedience & acceptable behavior? Can you trust your dog? Does your dog trust you? What does that relationship look like? Do you get to enjoy coming home to your dog and taking them places? Or, are you stressed out all of the time because your dog won’t follow simple directions, you can’t even go on a nice walk without them dragging you down the street, they are constantly getting into stuff or you’re afraid to have guests over or don’t feel comfortable taking them places out of fear that they might embarrass you? Owning a dog, like having a child is a huge responsibility! It is YOUR responsibility to love them, to lead them and to hold them accountable! Discipline = Freedom! Set yourself and your dog up for success so you can have the confidence and freedom to be able to take your dog anywhere & everywhere, regardless of the environment or the number of distractions and trust that your dog will do the right thing all of the time! More times than not, IT’S YOUR FAULT, so quit blaming the dog! Please let me know how I can help you have a better relationship with your dog!
