Darlin Dolly
Darlin Dolly is dancin for treats!! Live on the Adoption Stage.. it's Dolly! She will sing to you from “9 to 5” like the queen of Country music,, not really she's more of a dancer as you can see :). This “Heartbreaker” is Microchipped but the owner gave Dolly away 2 years ago on Craigslist and has no info on who she gave her to, but we know it wasn’t “Jolene”. She arrived at the shelter wearing a collar but No ID and No One has called for her. Dolly says “I will always love you” if you give me a chance. “All I can do” is show you how good of a girl I can be. As we get to know her “Coats of many colors” better, we will update her info. Donut Day 1
Donut Day last Sunday! Two of our amazing volunteers, along with adopted MCDS dog Arielle, stopped by to give every shelter dog a special treat while they wait for their furever home! They all LOVED a special homemade "dog friendly receipe" donut! We know you see your new best friend in this video so come to the Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Tiffany, just look at her smile! Our volunteer says "she walks well on the leash, takes treats gently and is a big happy girl" All she needs is a home!! Don’t let Tiffany’s tough looks fool you. She’s a calm sweet girl that is an absolute sucker for cheek rubs. Tiffany was found on 7/3/2023 with No Collar, No ID, No Microchip and no one came for her. We believe she was found in Harmony Township but can't guarantee that is correct (the info provided to us wasn't very clear). Since she is a stray, we do not know how she is with cats or kids. Blondie
Beautiful Blondie! Just look at Blondie’s soulful eyes! This was her intake video and she has gained weight, cleared her skin issues and is waiting for her furever home! This gangly girl is just full of love. Voluteer adventures with Blondie "We became fast friends after a few treats and belly rubs. She’s a bit of a heartbreaker as she very very reluctantly went back in her kennel after our walk. She just wanted attention, hugs, and more belly rubs. It took a lot of coaxing and treats to console this poor sweetie. While out on our nature walk she loved exploring the trails and rolling in the grass. She was also very curious about my fuzzy hat and loved to gently sniff it and reward my patience with a kiss. She has the typical hound excitement on her walk but did well on the leash. Someone has to be looking for a beautiful sweet hound to add to their family!" Blondie is a very sweet 2 year old Coonhound. She is friendly with people but a little selective with her doggie friends so she will have to meet all housemates before she's adopted. Blondie needs some obedience training to help her show what a good girl she can be! She was found in Westfield Township on 8/2/2023 with No Collar, No ID, No Microchip and no one came for her. She was found very near to the same area that the male Coonhound, Dagwood, was found. Possibly they were running together and got separated.
