I’ve had the idea for this piece written in my notes for a year or so and sometimes when I have what I think is a really funny idea, it take me ages to paint it because I worry I won’t do it justice.
Finally, a few weeks ago I bit the bullet and began this painting.
I grew up in a house with a dog and a budgie (Budgerigar- not sure what they are called elsewhere but they were really popular pets in the 70’s and 80’s)
So this piece is a real kick of nostalgia for me.
The dog never actually bothered with the bird but we had a few close calls with the visiting neighbours cats😬

Intro to Animal Communication and Level 1 are both offered online through my website. I teach the Level 1 and Level 2 classes once a year, and the next one will be scheduled for Spring. I also teach private groups of 2-4, if you know of someone or a couple friends interested in learning with you!

Dawn Tule of Mella Luna Healing will teach us how to help our pups with massage techniques. Dawn is a certified canine massage therapist with over 25 years experience helping animals! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to learn from a master!
