How cute!!

Hi! My name is Baby Pappardelle. My family dropped me off at the shelter and I'm much too young to stay here all by myself. It's so loud and they have sick dogs here. I have no vaccinations so I'm considered high risk for parvo and I don't want to get sick. 😔

I didn't get a chance to pack my piggy bank so I could use some help with my medical care. Does anyone have some spare change they can donate towards my care?

Which ones are the big ones and which ones are the little ones? The disparity in sizes continues to shrink! They all look SO BIG today! Nugget didn’t appreciate me saying she was the smallest puppy yesterday, so she gained a whopping 98 grams (greater than the previous three days COMBINED!) and put Lucky 7 back in her place as the smallest pup in the litter. As much fun as having thriving puppies is, I’m also really enjoying using this excitement to teach Robbie about spreadsheets, weights, and conversions to freedom units from grams.

The puppies continue to grow and develop beautifully. The big excitement today is that Lucky 7 is no longer the smallest puppy! She’s been neck and neck with Nugget all along, but while Nugget has had some consistent but comparatively small gains, Lucky7 gained a whopping 148g in the last 3 days to Nugget’s 95g. If you look at the last picture, you can see the portly L7. 😂 one fun thing about homeschooling is having the opportunity to teach grams and ounces, spreadsheets, etc. to my son in a way that really connects because he’s into the puppies.

The oxytocin is flowing today! 🥰 All 7 pups are gaining weight, and they look great! June looks like she’s comfortable in her new role. 🤩 I’m on standby for round the clock feedings (of supplements and literally any food she will eat) and bathroom breaks with limited notice. Other than supporting mom, I’m letting the puppies be for the most part. We will begin early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction on day 3.

We have a very exciting announcement to make. June’s babies are here and thriving! She’s a very devoted mother, and we are so grateful for these little miracles she’s given us.

We are so excited to meet June’s babies in less than 2 weeks! I’ve attached the X-rays for those who enjoy counting. I adjusted the settings on the first two, and the second two are the originals as I received them. What do you see? Robbie bet his dad $5 there are 7 or less, and Rob bet 8 or more. June is big, but the picture really emphasizes that, because she’s sitting. She can still run and jump when she chooses to do so.
