Here’s your friendly reminder that female are crossing roadways right now on their way to lay eggs. Please give these turtles a chance, and if it can be done safely, help them across in the direction they were headed. The future of some populations might depend on it.

Did you know that rattlesnakes are attentive and caring mothers too? The mom stays with her young for about ten days until they shed their first skin, exhibiting behaviors to keep them safe the entire time.
