Let’s help this sweet girl find the love she deserves ❤️
We’re at a complete loss to
understand why, for the past two years, not one person, no one, has expressed an interest in Hazel. It’s beyond heartbreaking. Not one foster or adoption application for this beautiful girl.
Hazel is a great dog. She graduated from CPAA’s HOPE program with flying colors. She’s a rock star.
Due to the prison’s new rule, implemented in April, after a dog is in the HOPE program for six months, they have to leave. Since Hazel had been in HOPE for over a year, she had to leave. Because no one stepped up to foster her, she’s been living in a kennel.
Here’s the sad reality. She’s not doing well. She’s losing weight. She’s becoming reactive. This is despite being taken on road trips and outings several times a week.
WE NEED YOUR HELP LIKE NEVER BEFORE. Hazel needs a savior.
Hazel needs a foster or adoptive home without other pets. She’s an active girl so would love to be with an active person or family. She’d be a great hiking, walking, or running partner. She also likes to cuddle. She’s super smart and knows a ton of commands. She’d do best with teenaged children, or a childless home.
We know this is a tall order. But we also know that social media is powerful. Can you please help us find her a home for the holidays?
