We are located in Middle Tennessee near Nashville..K-9's Has been providing quality dog training for over 40 years. Originating in Southern California in 1979. We specialize in obedience, problem solving, home manners, Therapy and Service Dog training (specializing in veterans with P.T.S.D and T.B.I). We also have a Dog Trainers Certification Course. We are registered C.G.C judges and offer C.G.C

certification at our facility. We have competed in A.K.C, Obedience Trials, Conformation, and Dog Sports. Formerly recognized as pioneers and experts in the use of K-9's in Executive Protection for 20 years. Karen Duet has written the following books: The Home & Family Protection Dog, The Business Security K-9, Advanced Schutzhund, Dog Training 101, and is currently working on her 5th book. Army retired. Air Station saved a man & his dog, Thurs., during Hurricane after his 36-ft sailboat became disabled & started taking on water approximately 25 miles off Sanibel Island. Call the for help on VHF Ch. 16 or dial 911 for storm distress.

Great day today at Dillards and Emmy Squared at The Mall at Green Hills! We had 22 people and 11 service dogs. We did elevator and escalator practice. Afterwards five dogs graduated at Emmy Squared during lunch in a private room. Three out of five of our graduates were veterans. 😊 Everyone did a great job! Congratulations to those who got through this rigorous two year process! 🎊 🎉 🐕‍🦺🐾

K-9 Companions Nashville has a new dog splash pond! With so many lakes nearby clients love that we can teach dogs to be comfortable in the water.

It’s fun teaching dogs to swim in our new swim pond for dogs at K-9 Companions Nashville.

Nice ride today in the shade of the forest on our neighbors 80 acres. For anyone who has asked if we ride our horses this is for you! Also, our neighbor has an airbnb so keep that in mind if you have visiting family members or you are coming to us from another state :-)
