Our nonprofit is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected farm animals. One thing that makes Mules N' More special is our ability to take in animals with advanced medical needs. In addition to our 20+ years of animal care experience, we have staff and volunteers with diverse medical training and extensive experience including Vet Techs, Veterinarians, and Registered Nurses.

We have gotten so much rain this past week the farm is a straight mud pit. 😭😭😭

Today we put out lots of straw and hay for the babies to make sure they have dry areas to lay in, and they were LOVING IT!!!!! 😍 💕

It was a little too close for comfort, but we made it through last nights storm safely with minimal damage. All the animals are nice and warm with plenty of food to keep them comfortable. Others very close to us were not so lucky. Prayers to everyone who had damage in these storms 🙏

Emmie Lou always loves to be front and center, but today for the first time ever, Betty felt safe enough to approach me and even gave me a nose boop!!!!!

It really just made me feel a certain kind of way. Today’s small win was possible because of your support. We can ensure every animal gets the time they need, however long that may be, to realize humans can be good. To put things in perspective, we have had Betty 8 months now. Betty remains up for adoption while we continue to work with her, and someday because of you all, she will get her chance to find her forever home. 💕🐷

Happy April 1st!!!! ☀️

We are struggling a little bit and are asking for your help to kick off the month. 🙏💕

We raised $1,700 during our Valenswine’s Day Fundraiser to help us pay for pig spays 🐷 That covered a little bit over half our bill which is amazing! 🤩 We pulled the other $1,600 out of our account to cover the rest of the balance.

🐴Benji had his dental and wellness appointment yesterday. He has lost some weight since his visit last year, and his teeth are very worn due to his age (well over 30 years), we will need to make some feed adjustments for him to put some weight back on. We haven’t gotten the bill his visit yet, but it’s usually a couple hundred dollars between his dental and vaccines.

Ontop of that, our big pig Ernie’s arthritis is really starting to bother him and is making it more difficult to walk. We are scheduling a vet appointment for him to get seen, and he will likely need to be put on another daily medication in addition to his meloxicam.

We have a lot of ongoing bills in addition to the above. Utility bills, hay, feed, insurance, rescue phone bill, etc. Sometimes the list never seems to end.

We are asking for your help this month to help us pay our bills and get our bank account back up out of the red! Any amount helps, WE CANT KEEP OUR DOORS OPEN WITHOUT YOU!

I can’t believe we have had Blossom 🌸 at Mules N More for over a year. She has made big progress with us. We are hoping she will be behaviorally ready to get her eye removed in the next few months 🤞🏽👏🏼🐎

We have gotten a lot of questions about June being broke to ride. Our Executive Director Sam decided today was a good day to find out!

This sweet girl tacked like a pro (we used a ba****ck pad and a bitless bridle for her first ride). Based off of how she did today we do think at some point in her life this girl was loved and ridden! (To give some perspective on horse vs rider size, Sam is 5’ 9” and 165 #)

She needs a lot of refreshers and will need an advanced rider to get her tuned up, but overall we were absolutely pleased with June’s performance today. This could be the first time she has been sat on in YEARS!! We will continue to work with her and push her buttons to see what else she knows. 💕🐎
