Avenue Animal Hospital is a full service small animal veterinary hospital in Mount Juliet, Tennessee that is owned and operated by Nicole Harris, DVM. Dr. Harris graduated from Auburn University and has been practicing locally for the past 8 years. She can perform echocardiograms to evaluate the heart, as well as abdominal studies to evaluate abdominal organs.

Say hello to this awesome lady!

Kasey was born and raised in Gladeville. She went through the
Vol State Vet Tech Program in which she was the president of this program and successfully graduated and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has such a love and compassion for animals that is overwhelming to all of us. If you ask Kasey about her career choice, she will say that she is living her dream by becoming a veterinary technician. She has four pets of her own, Yota, Chevy, Jackson, Delilah, Daniel and Gilbert. Kasey's greatest achievement is being a mother to her sweet two-year-old boy named Henry.

This sweet lady is amazing . 👏

​​Stasha has always loved animals and knew she wanted to care for them as long as she can remember. In 2018, she graduated with a bachelor's in agriculture from UT Martin and earned her license as a Veterinary technician. She lives in Lebanon, Tn with her wonderful husband and two beautiful dogs. In her spare time, she likes to read, scrapbook and host a group for pet parents called Paws & Praise at her local church.

Tracie joined us in October 2018. She has worked in the veterinary field for 30 years and truly views this job as her calling. She has a true passion for all animals and takes even a greater interest in fear free handling and our senior patients. Tracie's knowledge, care and compassion are just a few traits on why she is such a wonderful asset to our Avenue family. Tracie is married and has two children. Spring Forward: Helping Your Pet Adjust to Daylight Saving Time ⏰🐾

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, we set our clocks ahead one hour! While this means longer days for us, it can also disrupt your pet’s routine. Pets rely on consistent schedules for feeding, walks, and sleep, so this small change may cause confusion or restlessness.

🐾 Tips to Help Your Pet Adjust:
✔️ Shift mealtimes and walks by 10–15 minutes each day leading up to the change.
✔️ Keep bedtime routines as normal as possible.
✔️ Get plenty of fresh air and exercise to help with energy levels.

A little patience goes a long way! If your pet seems extra sluggish or anxious, give them time to adapt—and, of course, extra belly rubs never hurt. ❤️
