Volunteer Robyn Lane joined the Endeavor community 18 months ago when she was searching for a meaningful way to give back following her career in education. After her grandson became a participant at Endeavor, Robyn decided to explore our volunteer program, and she knew she had found the perfect place.
What surprised Robyn most about Endeavor wasn’t the horses, the programs, or even the farm. was the environment of deep trust, kindness, and mutual respect. “I have never seen an environment of such mutual respect as here,” she shared. “Every member of the staff is incredibly patient, kind, and supportive as volunteers learn the ropes.”
Robyn is always eager to lend a hand and is full of encouragement for others to join her. “I’ve encouraged practically everyone I know to volunteer here!” she laughs. “This is the place I treasure.”
When asked about her favorite horse Robin explained, “Every horse I work with becomes my favorite! I call Priscilla ‘Patient Priscilla’ because she endured me learning how to tack with her. Rain looked me in the eye and gave me a thumbs up. Goliath might be my love. I could go on and on.”
We are so grateful for Robyn’s warmth, positivity, and commitment to Endeavor. Whether she’s connecting with the staff, sharing a quiet moment with a horse, or simply soaking in the energy of the farm, Robyn brings heart to everything she does.
