What a great way to end the Muskingum County Summer Series Shows.

•

⭐️Some highlights to our day⭐️

🐎 Kiera was able to win her showmanship class out of 15! Kiera has progressed so much as a showman over the summer with Blaze. From all of her classes this summer I think there has only been 1 time she hasn’t placed!

🐎Charlee received Reserve Champion in the ranch 8-13 division for the end of year awards. She has pushed her self all summer progressing with pattern classes with Petey. She has proved just showing up and putting in the work gets you results.

🐎Brinlee received Reserve Champion in the Western Small-Fry division for end of year awards.
Neither Brinlee or Slim Jim have competed prior to this year. They have absolutely blown away our expectations. She always had her fasted barrel time of the year (32 seconds) & got 2nd place out of 10 exhibitiors!

🐎Mavric placed in nearly every class he went in and even won 2! His second place in egg and spoon was so awesome too! From where him & Paulie first started to now is mind blowing! This was definitely their best show to date. So so proud of them!

🐎Pamela Swinehart-Booth attended her first ever show and competed in halter at the young age of 70! Pam is one of those people who just warm your soul and puts a smile on your face no matter what.
She decided just yesterday she was going to show.
Not only did she go out there and show, she brought home a 3rd place ribbon out of 7! She is truly our hero and to know her is to love her. We are so glad she is apart of our barn family.

Mental health programs and services incorporating horses are gaining more and more traction everyday. It is is a safe, dynamic and effective option for those in need.

Horses help encourage perseverance, respect for life, and maintenance of positive and empathetic attitudes towards ourselves and others.

With the appropriate care, people can flourish, grow and heal 🤍☁️🌿🍃✨️

Busy, busy weekend! 😴🏆🤍

Friday we had 13 kiddos for horse camp.
Saturday horse show in Hocking Co.
Sunday horse show in Muskingum Co.

Between the 2 days 5 kids showed and 7 horses were hauled - all kids had great placings and keep making improvements. Proud of you all! 🤍
(Tucker took his first ever road trip! Handled it like a pro)

Our sweet cinnamon getting some much needed treatment. 🫶🏼 Thanks Iron Chariot Equine Bodywork!!!

Sometimes you lose your balance. This horse I worked on is a great example of how all those fine joints and bones of the head are great at indicating just that. This particular gelding badly bowed a tendon and while his official recovery is over, the injury will effect his symmetry and function for the rest of his life. In the photo you can see how the nose is slightly to one side but he also has a lot of tension and sensitivity he is reluctant to have worked on through the rest of his body. The good news is that while we can't make that tendon like it was before, we can straighten him out again! And once I set his head in order, it opens up the rest of the body to be worked on.

These kids were so much fun. A lot of new riders, tons of laughs and a boat load of memories made!🤍

This camp we had Mavric, Ava, & Sydney as our helpers. We couldn’t of did this without you! 🫶🏼
