The Doc's Dogs Story:
After settling into their new home, getting a dog to share their life with was number one on the agenda for The Doc and her husband. Since they both worked away from their home at 8AM-5PM jobs, they had to find someone to care for their boy, Marty, during the workday. Unsatisfied with the doggie-daycare options in the area, they ended up hiring someone to walk Marty every day

at lunch time. Realizing that others must have this need as well, and knowing that spending time with four-legged friends is the best part of her day, The Doc decided to leave her day job to fill the niche of work-week pet care! About The Doc:
After 10 years of practicing physical therapy, Dr. Lindsey Morgan ("The Doc") stepped away from the clinic to pursue her passion of working with dogs. Lindsey grew up with dogs, and enjoyed pet sitting for friends, family, and coworkers. During college and graduate school, she worked nights and weekends at a cageless doggie daycare and boarding facility. She and her husband are the proud dog-parents of Marty (black lab). The Doc has many years of experience taking care of furry family members, and can't wait to meet yours!

🐶 Marty Update:
Some of you are aware that our boy Marty has been having a rough time recently, with neck pain that was preventing him from eating and sleeping comfortably.
We got a CT scan this week that shows some malalignment, age related bony changes, and a mild disc bulge in the cervicothoracic region of his spine. The vet said it has likely been exacerbated by him jumping and landing on his front paws (like he does when flying off the porch or getting out of the car).
The plethora of meds has helped a lot! We are going to gradually start weaning him off of those, and are hopeful that with some activity modification (like using ramps for the car) we can reduce future flareups.
We are all very tired (him from the muscle relaxers, us from sleeping on the couch to be downstairs with him), but our minds are eased somewhat by seeing progress and getting some answers.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been checking in and asking about him. It’s wonderful to know so many people care about our sweet boy. ❤️
