In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, please read Wasabi’s story 💝

This is a photo of a 6 month old, now spayed, female cat! She was diagnosed with “Dolly Parton Syndrome” which is also known as a Progesterone Responsive Feline Mammary Hypertrophy. This condition can be treated with just an Ovariohysterectomy if caught early enough!

This sweet kitten was found as a stray and unfortunately the entire mammary chain was already too enlarged and ulcerating. Thankfully, Dr. Epp was able to perform a bilateral mastectomy to finally bring her comfort! She is doing EXCELLENT and feeling two whole pounds lighter! 😻🐾

A friendly reminder to SPAY your pets to avoid mammary chain reactions!!!

If you follow us on Facebook, you know one of our own has just recently suffered a terrible tragedy. Jamal, who started out as a client and ended up a part of our team, was recently involved in a car accident. After getting back on his feet from that, his house unfortunately caught fire with his animals inside. 🥺

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department was able to rescue all animals from the fire and take them to . While Lovely, the momma cat unfortunately did not survive the smoke inhalation, all of her kittens did! We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our wonderful clients and friends for adopting this sweet beans and giving them the best homes! ♥️👏🏼 (some even learning from their dog siblings already 🤣)
