⚠️ Winter Storm Evacuation - Foster Homes Needed

Due to the approaching winter storm, we’re proactively sending animals to foster homes to ensure they’re safe and warm during severe weather. We need your help!

Today, we will be sending out animals to foster homes during business hours. Tomorrow 1/20, we will be open from 8am-12pm to send out foster. After 12 PM tomorrow, our shelter will close early due to the weather conditions.

We have 50 dogs and 5 cats available for foster, including some with medical needs. Your support will make a huge difference in keeping them safe. Ideally, these animals will return by Friday at the earliest, but we will continue to monitor the weather and adjust as needed.

🚨 Why this is urgent:
While we can never predict exactly what the weather will bring, the safety of our staff and animals is our priority. Travel may become unsafe, and we want to ensure all animals are in safe, warm homes during the storm.

🚨Foster Needed: She can't see you, she can't hear you - but she'll feel every ounce of love you give!

Frannie is a gentle, loving senior dog who desperately needs a calm and quiet home to rest and feel safe. At 14-15 years old, she’s both blind and deaf, which can leave her feeling a little lost and confused in the shelter. Despite her challenges, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate, with so much love to give to the right person. ❤️

Frannie would thrive in a peaceful environment with someone who can be with her most of the time to provide comfort and security. She struggles when left alone, especially in a kennel, but with a patient and understanding soul by her side, she would feel safe again.

As an older lady, Frannie does have some housebreaking challenges and mild urinary incontinence, but she is low-maintenance and just needs a soft bed and loving touch to make her feel at ease. She’s not asking for much—just kindness, compassion, and a cozy place to spend her golden years.

This sweet girl has been through so much, and she deserves to know what it feels like to be loved and cared for in a home.
