We save kitties in the Titus County, TX area! Kitty Cove Rescue is a 501.C(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping the feline population in our area.

We try to keep cats from euthanasia in our local shelter by reducing the numbers entering the system. We act as a safety net for those cats in desperate need of rehoming, those that have been abandoned in and OUT of the city limits, and those that have been left to breed uncontrollably by irresponsible people.

Update: adopted! This sweet boy has been with us for almost 2 years! He is such a good boy. Indoor/outdoor. His name is slasher because he had a big slash on his leg when her came in. If anyone is intrested in this baby please let us know. He is good with other dogs and cats!

Update another wonder rescue was able to tag them and they can get them to safety! Anyone able to foster them for 3-4 weeks? They need pit of the shelter.

This sweet big boy is still waiting for his forever home! Someone please adopt him!

Unfortunately I hate to make this post but Oscar didn't make it. He was fine before he entered surgery he has been fine there were no signs he was having issues. After surgery he came home and he stayed groogy and didn't eat that night or the next morning he didn't look right so I rushed him to Piney Woods Animal Clinic and they did everything they could for him. The final diagnosis was fip. Unfortunately it happened so fast we didn't have time to treat it. We are very saddened by this he was such a sweet boy and he loved to play in water. We didn't have him long but we sure did love him.

Update: unfortunately, the tumors in her mouth were an aggressive cancer. It was in her jawbone and another was found in her throat. Since it was so extensive and had spread we decided the best thing for her would be to let her go in peace. One of the tumors in her throat was blocking her route to swallow, while she still could, it was very painful for her. The total bill is $220.90. I have included it beliw in the comments; we still need to raise 140.90 for her care. Thank you to everyone that has donated, shared, and prayed for her. I can say the staff at Piney Woods treated her very well and she knew love before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Days like this are so hard, but We're glad she is not suffering anymore. This kitty's name is Sunny. She is currently at Piney Woods Animal Clinic , she has been there since Saturday they have her on pain meds and an antibiotic. She does has 2 cancerous tumors in her mouth which will be removed tomorrow. We really could use help with this because it will be costly. Hanna is ready for adoption! She is 4 years old, very sweet and loving. She is on a diet because she is 20lbs! She is utd on everything, fixed and fiv/felv free. If you want to adopt her or foster her let us know!
