This is Allen's wife Freda. As most of you know that Allen Gibson passed away October 9th 2021 from pancreatic cancer. Our good friend and fellow Taxidermist Wayne Stanford has volunteered to finish his work for him. Wayne has been on the board of the Texas Taxidermy Association for several years and was also Vice President at one time. He is retiring from Fort Hood Army Base soon and plans to move back to this area. I am recommending him to Allen's customers. Freezer clean out. I have several whitetail capes 16 to 19 inches tanned also a black bear 49 inches tanned. Several back skins Dry tanned. If interested I'll check
all wt.capes wet tanned ,all skins were tanned by wildlife gallery.

Well it's finally here, my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday the 26th. To my friends and clients.I will be out of commission for several weeks to recover. I have plans in place to get back as soon as I can safely. Thanks for the support, calls and messages.

To all my friends and clients. Today I started chemotherapy to reduce a tumor in my pancreas. It's going to take treatments into December and then surgery to remove what remains. So I will be working only when I feel good enough to make a day. I will have some aid from Candis Strelow ( she has worked for me about a year and is a very talented artist , I taught her ) I will be accepting a limited amount of work, so please bear with me. Thank you for the support and prayers!

To all my friends and clients, this has been a year that's like none I've seen. First the pandemic that shut our tannery down for a while, that put us behind. Then I started having abdominal pain like I had last year which resulted in pancreatitis. Went to the doctor, after a CT scan then an MRI and yesterday a procedure to examine my pancreas they found I have pancreatic cancer. This notice is to let you know I will be going through chemo or surgery or both. I will work toward getting your trophy to you as soon as I can. I truly appreciate your patience and am asking for your prayers. Thank you so much!

It's official, we are completely finished moving, all I need is getting organized now (that will take some time) I will be glad to see what is in my future. It's a more relaxed atmosphere out here. Opening on new year's day.
