Horse clients- If you are headed out west for the events in Arizona and Vegas in the next month, don’t wait to get your Coggins done. Plan for at least 7-10 days before you’ll get results. We also need 24 hours advance notice for health papers on all species.

The holidays are just around the corner… which means shipping will be busier than normal. Please plan ahead when ordering your animals prescriptions. Many of you have special order prescriptions for your fur babies. We don’t want them to run out, so please order when you have at least 1 week of medicine remaining. That way we can ensure your fur babies don’t miss important medicines!

Apparently there is a scavenger hunt going on where participants are trying to photograph animals at our vet clinic. We do NOT allow photography of our patients. They are protected by privacy considerations just like human patients. We aren’t being mean, we’re following the law. Please refrain from any further photos at our clinic without permission.

Dear clients,
We normally don’t share personal information about our doctors or staff, out of respect for their privacy. However, we feel it’s important to share the news that Dr Heintz will be out of the clinic for the next 2-3 weeks. She is having a necessary medical procedure and will require rest and recovery. We will have capable and kind relief veterinarians working in the clinic during Dr Heintz’s absence. We have full confidence in the doctors who will be working. Please give them the pleasure of treating your fur babies! Thank you all for your patience and grace during this time.

We have just been informed that our coggins lab will be short staffed in July. This means that tests will take longer than usual to get results. If your horses need Coggins tests, please have them scheduled immediately. We are happy to answer any questions regarding this matter.

Tonight at 5:30 PM, the clinic will be the location for Titus County Students to validate their heifers and steers for major stock shows. The clinic is NOT open for business during this time.
If any of the cattle being validated need vet work/vaccines, please arrive by 4:30 during business hours to handle that vet work. We appreciate your understanding!
