We are so humbled and thankful to be voted the Moultrie News 2024 Best Veterinary Clinic in Mt. Pleasant! Thank you to each and every one of you for your support and loyalty to our amazing hospital. I am beyond lucky to have such an amazing team of doctors, managers, technicians, assistants, and receptionists to work with. I have worked at Animal Medical Center since I was in high school; this hospital, my coworkers, our clients and patients mean the world to me... I cannot begin to tell you all how appreciative I am.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Safe Labor Day weekend! We will be closed on Monday for the holiday but still have appointments available on Saturday!

With summer festivities kicking off, we want to remind you about the symptoms of heatstroke and prevention tips:

-Never leave your pet unattended in a car
-When hot/humid, keep your pet’s time outdoors limited
-Keep your pet hydrated
-Ensure your pet has ventilation and a cool environment
-Dogs with short noses are at higher risk due to their condensed facial anatomy and restricted ability to cool themselves
-If any signs of heat stroke appear, contact our team immediately.

Today marks Animal Medical Center of Mt Pleasant’s 35th anniversary! We opened our doors on May 22nd 1989, a few months before Hurricane Hugo. Dr Senf created one of the most innovative, high quality veterinary practices in the Charleston area.
