Santa's coming! 🎅 Ensure a safe holiday with our Christmas pet safety tips:

1. Please never gift a pet, a pet is a lifetime commitment. ❤️
2. If you are traveling with your pet this Christmas, please make sure to travel safely with your pet secured. 🚗
3. Make sure your tree is well anchored so that your fuzzy lumberjack cannot pull it down or knock it over. 🎄
4. Chocolate is for Humans ONLY. Chocolate is toxic as it contains a substance called theobromine - the higher the cocoa content, the more toxic the chocolate! 🍫
5. Some CATS like to eat houseplants. Festive holiday plants are poisonous, these include - Holly, Mistletoe, Lilies, Poinsettia, and Amaryllis. 🏵
6. Instead of open flame candles, opt for flameless options as pets could knock them over and become burned. 🕯
7. Remove wrapping, ribbon, and tinsel, vacuum up pine needles often (if you have a real tree). Ribbon and Tinsel can become stuck in the intestines and cause serious illness. Tree Needles can be sharp and become stuck in their paw pads or their throat. Tree water can contain fertilizer and cause your pet nausea or diarrhea. 🎁
8. Avoid Snack-cidents - some human foods are harmful to your pets. During Christmastime, this includes - chocolate, xylitol, onions, garlic, grapes and raisins, macadamia nuts, alcohol. 🍷
