Name ideas are rolling in for our little black kitten!

🖤 Good news: Our little guy is hanging in there and getting a bit stronger each day.

He’s still being syringe -fed and on medication, but we’re hopeful he’ll start eating on his own soon. We honestly weren’t sure he’d make it — he’s so tiny and was incredibly sick.

But this little fighter is showing us just how tough he is. 💪 Keep sending good vibes (and name ideas)!

🖤 Meet Our Newest Rescue 🖤
This tiny black kitten has already been through a lot and he is 3-4 weeks old. He came to us skin and bones—severely malnourished, extremely anemic, and with a dangerously low body temperature of just 95°F.

He’s been receiving care, warmed gently with heating pads, and slowly—so slowly—his temperature is beginning to rise.

Kittens born on the streets face such overwhelming odds—extreme heat, parasites, fleas, malnutrition. It’s a tough world out there for the smallest lives. But he’s a fighter, and we’re doing everything we can to help him pull through. 💪

We haven’t picked his name yet—he’s a sleek little panther, and we want something that reflects both his strength and his sweet spirit. Drop your name suggestions below if you feel inspired! 🐾🖤

Please send him all the love and healing energy. We’re hopeful… and so is he. ✨

Melody Update 🎵

Swipe through to see Melody’s journey — the first photo is from today, and the others go back to Wednesday, Tuesday, and Monday. She has been going to the vet each day for treatments. 🐾

Her eyes are finally open and improving a little more each day. We’re still not sure how much vision she’ll have, but she’s receiving care every few hours and staying strong. 💪

Melody is now playing with her siblings and has more than doubled her weight! 🐱💖

She came to us with a severe flea infestation, which likely led to her URI and the untreated eye infection — but she’s on the mend now and showing so much spirit. ✨

Thanks for cheering her on! 💕

Moochi is doing so well 😍 Who would think that just a few weeks ago, she was fighting for her life against a uterine infection? She is like a different cat!

Our Little Warrior’s Update: 🐯 Despite suffering a severe injury — having one leg amputated, and the other leg broken in three places, including the elbow — she’s making incredible progress.

With pins holding her front leg together, her mobility is limited, but that hasn’t stopped her. In fact, she’s begun using that leg, however she can, as if to say, “I’m still here, and I’m still trying.”

She gets around all on her own now. It’s not always easy for her, but she doesn’t give up. She keeps moving forward, one careful step at a time.

She used to rely on a p*e pad, but now, with steady progress and a whole lot of heart, she uses a litter box. It’s a small change — but a big victory.

She’s not just recovering — she’s thriving.

"Eradication of all cats will not save humanity. Only facing our real problem, habitat loss, will save the world and the birds and other wildlife. And in the meanwhile, instead of ranting against cats, please help those of us on every continent to sterilize more cats: pet cats and feral cats. That would be the most sensible thing to do!"

Attn: Feral Cat Caretakers ~ Remember to put out fresh water daily to prevent heat stroke! 🌡🔥♨

From linked article: "Early signs of heatstroke look similar in cats and dogs, though they’re usually more subtle in felines. These include panting, restlessness, pacing (which may be to seek shade or water), drooling, red gums or tongue, an increased heart rate, and vomiting or diarrhea. Advanced stages can manifest as lethargy, confusion, seizures, weakness, or collapse. "

We’re working around the clock to get medication into little Melody’s eyes every few hours. Both are severely ulcerated and constantly stuck shut with mucus. One eye is flushing out better now, and we’ve finally been able to get some drops and ointment in. We even caught a glimpse of an actual eyeball — a huge relief, as we were very worried they had ruptured.

Her sister, Allegra, gave us a scare too. She was breathing strangely, so we did an X-ray, which revealed two broken ribs. There’s not much we can do just yet because she’s so tiny, but we’re being extremely gentle with her and monitoring her closely as she grows stronger.

These babies are fighters, and we’re doing everything we can to give them a chance. 💛
