It all started with getting a couple llamas, then making a site to help other llama farms sell their llamas (LlamaSalesList.Com), into a wide vision of helping ALL livestock farms not only sell animals, but save time by tools we wish existed before (Livestockcity). But yes, it all started with llamas. What a journey it put us on (Animal Planet and owning Merit, a very famous llama, and meeting other interesting llama breeders are among the highlights).

We will be selling our "raw" wool through LivestockCIty Farm Stores. Later this week, we will have some photos and prices for the store.

Just today we have launched our marketplace called "Farm Stores", on the LivestockCity site. Now farmers can set up stores in the marketplace to sell their products to consumers and restaurants and benefit from our advertising. Farmers can sell both food products (state/federal rules apply) and non-food products (wool, yarn, clothing, etc. ) from their own store profile. Examples of food products would be different cuts of beef, chicken, pork, lamb, dairy, etc. Since this is just being announced, there aren't really stores available yet, but we are encouraging eligible farms to sign up or find more information about it at www.livestockcity.com. We will be talking more about it in the coming days.

Photos from 2/28. McMurray is being sold in the LivestockCity sale that runs from March 2-8. www.livestockcity.com. It's way past time for him to move on and be the sire that he should be. Since we don't breed llamas anymore, it is a waste for him to be a pasture ornament.

McMurray will be in this sale. Mixed feelings about it, but he needs to be on breeder's farm while he can still be impactful.

It's been a while since we last did our "March Madness" llama sale, but we are bringing it back once more. Next year we will call it something different. So this is the last sale we will do with the title "March Madness." Now accepting consignments for this sale. We have sold most of our llama herd, with just a handful left. It is time for McMurray to move on to another farm and be a stud. He just turned 14, and we would like to see him go to a farm that can really put him to work over the next few years. We will entertain offers on him, otherwise he will probably available via auction in 2023. See his profile information here.
