We know we can’t believe it either! This girl needs special attention and needs to take seizure medicine every 8 hours until she outgrows it. She needs a foster until she finds her forever home with her special medical needs. Ideally we would love a foster to adopt situation until she is old enough to be spayed. Please reach out or come in to meet this precious girl!

Your gift of paper towels (which we always need!), water buckets for our dogs’ elevated water stations, and canned pumpkin will go a long way in keeping our pups comfortable and giving them a special Thanksgiving treat. 🐶🎃

Meet Nala. She was found as a stray earlier this month and now she is needing to find a forever home.
She is the sweetest dog!! She just wants pets and cuddles and to give kisses.
She is can be timid, but once she gets past her shyness she seems like she really wants to play.
If you would like to meet this sweet girl please stop by the shelter. If this could be your dog, you must have proof.

Being in a kennel surrounded by other dogs barking can really take a toll on a dog after a while. Sometimes when they get out of their kennel into the play area, they may just want to curl up and take a nap. It looks like that’s what Rubin needed today.
Rubin loves toys and is very independent at playing by himself. He always tries to take the tennis balls back into his kennel with him.
He loves people too. He just doesn’t really like other dogs.
If you are looking to maybe add a dog into your family, but you only want one - please consider a dog like Rubin. He’s a great dog and just not liking other dogs shouldn’t be a deal breaker or a red flag. He just needs the right home.
