Marriage of Reggie and Charlie
It was a big day at horse camp, Reggie and Charlie got hitched!! 🎉💒🌈😂
Opal loved the attention at yesterday’s Kentucky Derby party with Trinity Living Center! The seniors were joined by first graders from Salisbury Academy as well as middle school students from North Hills Christian Academy. So much fun was had by all!!
Chickens and toddlers

The Language of Horses
Building a relationship with the horse begins on the ground. We teach students to “speak horse,” giving them opportunities to learn the language of energy, movement and body language. Zella teaches these skills exceptionally well 💖

“The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit and freedom” - Sharon Ralls Lemon

Thank you Deb D'Amato: Horse Mumbler, Massage & Bodywork Therapist for coming out yesterday and working with the horses. Haven is a young mare in training who recently came from an equine rescue after being discovered in a feed lot (where horses are either adopted or sent to their final destination if you know what I mean). This sweet, beautiful horse certainly was in need of training and she also carried a lot of tension in her body. Deb was able to help her let it go, and afterward she had a very relaxed training session. We love Deb and so do the horses!!

Experiencing the joy of riding a horse does not require competition with others or a judge on the sideline telling you you’re good enough. When we connect with the horse we can feel what they are feeling, just as they can feel our slightest movements and changes in posture. Our students learn to ride in a way that supports the well-being of the horse. Riding can be a pleasure for both horse and human, an opportunity to connect with another being in a beautiful and harmonious dance.
We teach students of all ages to create a meaningful and mutually beneficial relationship with horses from the ground up. From how we approach the horse to grooming, leading, connecting movement, and riding, our students learn the importance of mindfulness and self-awareness in every aspect of horsemanship.

It was a rainy Labor Day but we were treated with a house concert with KIrsten and Dustin of Two in the Bush 🎶❤️ They will be back on October 2 for a fundraiser to support our friend Jonathan Myers, who was in a tragic accident resulting in the loss of both lower legs. The event will also feature Meadows Pizza, Cartel Brewing, bluegrass music and more! Save the date, we will post the full schedule and details soon!!
Reggie is so good at teaching groundwork ❤️🐴🥰

Groundwork with horses is a great way to build relationship and strengthen connection. We love helping students practice off-line groundwork, giving horses freedom to choose. Our lessons teach all around horsemanship as well as riding and aim to develop happy, willing partners without force or coercion. #happyhorses #groundworkwithhorses #horsemanshiplessons #zellalabelle
