Last night we had to say see you later to Skatch’s Jazztime Peach Moonshine MH call name Sadie as she crossed the rainbow bridge. June 9, 2011-May 28,2024. She was the start of Retrieve Your Dreams Retrievers. She was the first dog we competed with. The first dog we breed. She was excited to watch compete and was a great team player. She was an awesome mom to her two litters. She took us places we would’ve never gone and helped us meet and establish friends we would’ve never done without her. She was always excited to see you and was always eager to please. She had a nose that would turn her on a dime at a full sprint and had the perseverance to hunt and find a bird in the thickest briar thicket and densest cover. She would not quit. She was loyal and faithful to the end. We had a fun thing we did where at the end of a series in a hunt test where she was successful where she would run and jump in my arms and I would praise her. All I could think of last night was her running and jumping in Jesus’ arms. You can’t convince me that there are no dogs in heaven. Even the word dog to me was not an accident. Reverse the spelling and what do you get. They are our angels on earth and teach us how to love and forgive. I learned so much from her. She was one of a kind. For anyone that reads this thank you for helping us honor her. We will miss you Sadie. Go run we will see you again.
