WNC Regional Livestock Center is trying to get the word out that they have tons of supplies that have been donated and stalls for horses and livestock. Please let folks know that they can get donated hay, grain, etc. And if they text, the livestock center will figure out a way to get supplies out to people who are cut off and help get animals evacuated.

So far we have raised $600 just today to purchase supplies for animals in need in WNC!! 🥹 please share and please donate, every dollar counts! We are accepting donations of hay, grain, and other supplies per the list posted yesterday as well. We also have access to a helicopter to be able to drop off some of these supplies. October 1st through October 3rd when you buy 10 bags of any Hodge Farms Rancher’s Pride Feed, Hodge Farms will send an additional 5 bags to the flood victims and their animals.

The animals in our beautiful state need our help 😔 We will be collecting donations of supplies listed below to assist animals in western North Carolina. Our amazing friends at Rescue Ranch are also accepting donations. Please contribute to their efforts as well. ❤️

-Bagged hay (alfalfa, Timothy, compressed bales that are plastic wrapped.
- Grain
-electrolyte powder and paste
-Ropes
-Tarps
-Halters
-dog and cat food (wet and dry)
-bags of pine shavings
-feed pans
-Betadine
-cotton balls
-Vetricyn, any kind of first aid creams or sprays
-bandage wraps

Our friends at Hodge Farms are helping relief efforts as well. Please consider purchasing grain through them if you’re able to contribute.

Our beloved Red Bell Run in Columbus, NC made it through the storm but took on a lot of damage and will need a hand.

🚨 URGENT: Asheville Humane Society needs our help! 🚨

The catastrophic damage from Hurricane Helene has overwhelmed the Asheville Humane Society, and countless animals are in desperate need of safety. We’re partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation to rescue as many pets as possible, but we can’t do it without your help!

We need emergency fosters to help us take in these animals! If you’ve never fostered before, that’s okay! Fostering is completely free—Forsyth Humane Society will provide you with all of the supplies you might need to help care for one of these animals. Every foster home we can secure is another life we can save! 🐾❤️
