Hey everyone, a quick update on the schedule over the next several days:
1. We'll be closing early today, 8/30/24 to give the team a little extra time off to spend with their families. The office will be open from 8-noon today for any last minute needs.
2. We will be closed on Monday for Labor Day. We'll resume normal hours next Tuesday 9/3/24.

UPDATE: Thanks so much everyone for sharing this post. We had a lot of interest in the position and have hired a great person to fill the role.

We’re hiring!

We are looking for a veterinary assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position to fill in while one of our staff is on maternity leave. After that, we may have the opportunity to keep the right candidate on staff in either a full or part-time role.

Responsibilities for this position include but may not be limited to:

-Assisting with appointments – Checking in and weighing pets, patient restraint, vaccine/appointment preparation, counting medications

- Cleaning and disinfecting rooms, kennels, and medical equipment.

- Assisting veterinarians and technicians with diagnostic procedures.

-Clinic laundry

-Assisting with inventory and stocking supplies

-Answering phones and assisting customers

Qualifications:

18+

Experience in a vet clinic preferred but not required.

Good communication skills, both with clients and other team members

Physical requirements – this position demands moderate physical activity including lifting/carrying patients, restraining animals including large dogs, and standing for extended periods of time

Essential skills are a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others on a small team.

The position is full-time, M-F 8AM – 5PM.

Hi folks. An update on our schedule over the next couple of weeks:
Unfortunately, we have to close early today, 12/22/23. We will be closed for Christmas on Monday but will have regular hours 12/26-12/28. We are going to be closed for the New Year's weekend from Friday, 12/29/23-Monday 1/1/24.

As always, thanks for your patience and understanding. As a small business, we strive to maintain a balance between serving our clients and their animals and time with family/loved ones. Your continued support and compassion makes this so much easier for us.
