💕 JULIET 💕

It’s pumpkin spice season and I have a pumpkin spice mare ready to find her forever home! Juliet is a lovely 16.1h 15yo Dutch Warmblood mare. Big bodied old school look, easily can carry a bigger person. She is a barn favorite with her hilarious personality and loving nature. She knows tricks and will do anything for a cookie. Juliet was previously a jumper but is now thriving in the world of dressage. She does enjoy an occasional ground pole or cavaletti, but she’s making a fantastic dressage mount. Juliet is eager to please and is nicely in front of the leg. She is a forward type but not overly sensitive. Pick up your reins and she is on the bit! Three balanced comfortable gaits. In your hand but not strong. She gives a great feel under saddle! Juliet is a pet on the ground and loves to be spoiled and groomed. Very well schooled and the same horse everyday. Take your time.

Teach them how to use their bodies correctly. Show them how to regulate their emotions. Don’t rush them because of a horse show or personal goal. Teach them to be patient. Show them how to be straight and stretch so they can stay sound. Don’t rush them into bigger jumps just because they can.

Take your time or you will have to go back in time to fix them. Take your time and it will always be worth the wait…

Ok people, this is not a drill. The unicorn of unicorns! Safe safe safe! Meet Hairy Potter! He is a 6yo Gypsy Vanner gelding standing around 14.1 hands. He is two horses wide and able to carry full size adults with ease! Potter is the jack of all trades with experience in english, western, trails, jumping, driving, lunge lessons, cow work, and recently even attended a hunter pace. Potter comes out the same horse everyday and loves everyone he meets. He is the best horse to have around with absolutely zero drama and no vices. He’s sound and barefoot and requires no maintenance. Potter rides in a snaffle and is the perfect balance between woah and go. I love this horse and wish I could keep him as my play around pony. I can’t help but smile every time I ride him! It was a great day teaching a clinic for Sharkey Farm! The horses were all fantastic and I was very impressed by each rider. A lot of “trainers in training”! Very capable kids who were able to problem solve quickly. Not many position corrections needed, great work team Sharkey! Ended the day with some time with my horse family. No where I’d rather be 💜
