Herbs are a must have, especially with sick babies. Walmart has these cheaper then elsewhere. Ideal to keep them outside of cage. I put 6.00 herbs in our failur to thrive peachick cage (she is still alive-thanl you Lord) and they trashed/ate the herbs within days.
We need to end Kaparos! Some things are just unnecessary and inhumane!

Sammamish Animal Sanctuary needs to rehome 3 girls and 1 boy chinchillas. They will have enclosures that go home. No rehoming fee. Not for a breeding project. Sanctuary would love for them to be adopted together. Facility had a fire and needs to find these guys a home quick. Please help!!! Chinchilla experience necessary.

All animals being adopted out are to go to loving homes and not be used for freezer camp, crock pots, pelts, or anything other than to live their life to the fullest and age out gracefully. NO FOOD!

Farm life is never calm or uneventful.... ever!
Taking our evil dogs out for their nightly potties I noticed Kumo our male kitty very interested in something in the old lawnmower bag. Bean, our tiny evil dog wanted to investigate. So, I put Sadie in the pen and coursed Bean in there as well. Back to Kumo.
We have been battling rodents killing clutches and my fancy baby chicks. So, I was totally ready to end this rodent's life. I lift up the bag and it was not a rat like I had hoped. To top it off Kumo was just playing with it and could not even catch it. The vole ran up to me and on my feet. At first, I was like no way, you're on your own. But then I wanted it gone so I picked it up and called Midnight our lady kitty and pro mouser. Well, she got it, and I was proud and went to go grab the dogs. I started to feel bad for what I had done. But knew it needed to be done to keep the flock safe...???
On my way back to the house I heard squeaking. I quickly put the dogs in the house and ran to the kitten area (yep, she had kittened a week ago)
I frantically looked for the vole. There it was under the kittens. I did not want this thing getting tortured, so I picked it up (using a blanket) and petted it. It was so soft and sweet. I placed it under the car and wished it much luck. It reluctantly left my side.
A bit later I started to wonder if maybe Midnight was being parental and just wanted to mother the vole or maybe she was trying to train her kittens????

A hen for HeyHey. HeyHey is being adopted June 4th. His new lady will go with him. He is in training right now. Is an amazing rooster and good with other poultry. He is learning manners with humans.
Looking for 2 baby geese 24hrs old preferably to put under a broody goose whose eggs are unfertile. She has been sitting for 3 weeks.
So proud of HeyHey our young rooster from animal control. Have been working on him numerous times a day to show him how to be polite. Today I took a chance and sat on the floor. After a few failed attempts he minded his manners and even flirted with me.
Lots of birds up for adoption. Not for freezer camp or crock pots. Lots of beautiful roosters. Ducks too. Will not seperate.

Yes, I am talking about the stunning dino like Guinea Fowl.
These guys are my natural predator alarm. And I love them. If you have a large flock of guineas, they are known to chase predators away. They also take care of mites! Double whammy! Also, they sing beautiful little lullabies at night.
Heather Kline is who I adopted my Analiese from which is a lavender guinea. Keets to be born in May-nature depending.
