Description: Intact male German Shorthair Pointer with docked tail. Appears to only be a couple years old. Has some basic manners. Very skinny! Found running with a very scared male black Lab mix puppy that’s between 3-6 months old.

It's mushroom season!

"Hi there! Nice to meet you, my name is Roscoe. I am what is considered a "young senior", being only 9 years old. I am a black German Shepherd who weighs 107 pounds. I am a big boy with a big heart to match.

I have lived my life with another dog but we are soon to part ways as our family has become broken. It is sad but what would be sadder is if both or one of us had to go to a shelter. My friend has already found what sounds like an adoptive home so now it's my turn. Will you help me find a home?

When meeting new dogs, I need to be introduced properly. If you hold me back while I am on leash, it may mean I get more pushy about meeting a potential new friend. However, because of my size I can be intimidating to other dogs so it's best if the humans sort out a meeting ahead of time to make the best chance for a good match. Since I've always lived with another dog, it may be very nice to gain another new friend. I've always been good with cats so if you have cats who aren't afraid of dogs, they may enjoy my company. I've lived with children and while I've been a good boy around the youngins, I much prefer older kids who won't try to pull upon me or ride me like a horse. Gentle children can be such nice family members!

I am accustomed to staying in my crate when the humans need to leave the house. I can manage a few hours between potty breaks. When you get home, I can't wait to get out to greet you and then do my business outside. During the day when people are around and at bedtime, I have an ottoman I sleep on. Maybe you have furniture that I can sleep on too? I don't think I can bring my ottoman along with me.

As I mentioned before I can get a little excitable while on leash and I see another dog. For this reason I don't go for many walks but maybe you have experience with dogs like me and can help me learn how to have better manners? I'd enjoy more exercise. Just be sure you can manage my size and strength! I'd hate to accidentally pull someone over. In my fenced yard I love to play fetch! Maybe you have a fenced yard I can go out into too? I will bark to alert you someone has arrived to our house. That tends to keep the bad people away! While I may sound scary I'm really just a BIG love bug!!

My human will tell you I am a friendly guy who loves to meet new people. I am a great cuddler and I want to be your best friend! It's time to start the next chapter of my life and I'm hoping to find someone who can keep and take care of me forever."

🚨 Hurricane Helene Assistance Trip 🚨

UPDATE: The Amazon Shipping Address issue has been fixed. We apologize.

As you may know, we have been organizing a trip to go and assist residents, law enforcement agencies, and SAR teams in the NC and TN mountains. We will be leaving on October 15th and driving our personal vehicles with trailers down to the areas hit the hardes by Hurricane Helene.

We have set up multiple wish lists for people who would like to donate supplies. Our Wish List consists mainly of pet food, which we will bring to K9s, pets, and shelters. Our Amazon Wish List is mainly composed of items people need now. From toothbrushes to snacks to solar powered flashlights, countless people have lost all of their belongings. Imagine only owning what you had in your pockets when the flash floods hit. They need it all.

Just as important as the goods are the Visa Gift Cards. We will use these cards to buy gallons and bottles of WATER and GAS for vehicles and generators being used by shelters and police departments. We also need gas money for the officers who are using their personal vehicles to transport and distribute all of the donations.

Every single donation helps, no matter what! We would love it if you guys could share this information and links with your friends and communities as well.

Who’s looking for their teddy bear dog?!

🐾 Georgia is like a big teddy bear - a very agile and fast teddy bear. She enjoys getting low to the ground and making fast cuts. In fact, her foster thinks she would make a great football running back! She reminds him of the 49ers Christian McCaffrey. She might not be the biggest, but she is very strong and when she first gets outdoors, she runs in elusive patterns as if someone is chasing her. Georgia exudes happiness and lives to love and be loved. Once she gets the zoomies out with you running around with her, she wants nothing more than to stick by your side like glue. 🐾
