Sweet, sweet Georgia loves everyone and anyone. She exudes happiness and you can’t help but smile at her antics. She has been great with adults and kids and has done well with small dogs.

Georgia knows basic commands and responds well to praise and toys. She will need to continue with a handler to help her with more advanced skills and how to contain her exuberant hugs.

Georgia would do well in an active home with kids or with someone who wants to take her to agility, obedience classes or rally.

Shelter dogs are doomed - please read this post. In every city shelters are killing healthy dogs. I can go on and on as to WHY…. But I’ll spare the lecture for the sake of this tribute!!!

Today, we honor the lives of the beautiful souls who touched our hearts at West LA Animal Shelter. These dogs may be gone, but their memory will forever live in our hearts. 💔

This tribute is a solemn reminder of the ongoing animal crisis in Los Angeles. Shelters are overwhelmed, underfunded, and unable to save every dog due to limited resources. Each name and face here represents a life that deserved love, care, and a second chance.

The time to act is now. Adopt, foster, donate, or volunteer—together, we can create change and save those still waiting for their chance at life.
