Want to learn a new skill? How about horseback riding? I am a USHJA certified instructor/trainer, and am available for horseback riding lessons. I have had over 30 years experience teaching hunt seat in Maine, and have now moved to Illinois! I am accepting students from 7 years of age on up, including adults. If sufficient interest, we will later add lessons for younger kids, ages 4 to 6. If you have a student in that age range, contact me anyway so I can judge the demand for it. I haven't written on here for a while. We have been busy setting up our new farm in Southern Illinois. We will still be offering some sales, and in addition we will be starting a lesson program here. Keep watch for more information

I'm back! Even though I am now in the midwest, I still have some nice horses. I am putting this lovely 4 year old gelding up. I have to make a trip back east at the beginning of the month, so can arrange transport if anyone wants him there. Just let me know! He is a 15.1H QHX gelding that is broke to both ride and drive, single and double, good on roads, traffic, etc. He has super ground manners, stands patiently, is quiet, yet he also is athletic and has nice gaits. This is a very nice gelding with more training and miles on him than you would normally find in the east. He is a sturdy horse, will carry a good sized rider without complaint, and has good bone and feet.
