This year we took a leap of faith and had a commercial dog kennel built and shipped down from Pennsylvania. Expanding our operation & purchasing more dogs. Becoming a Licensed State and USDA Kennel 👏🏼 In the next 2 months we are expecting 8 litters of puppies 🐶 But this week has been a lot for our crew and we are just getting started! I have been home on MOM DUTY all week caring for 3 sick kiddos. On top of running to Strafford to have levels pulled on our girl Stinker, C-Section, our first litter of 2024 & Working 2 Salebarns. Life has been pretty busy around here. There have been several nights with very little sleep. But I just wanted to give my girl a shout out ! Dogs really aren't her thing.. she would rather be in the barn working her show goats & lambs. But she has really pushed through being sick and helped this exhausted momma out. From house chores, helping with sick brother and sister, laundry to the ceiling (I'm not even exaggerating) The dog Kennel & helping feed puppies every two hours. We're exhausted ! We have struggled a lot with Stinker wanting to eat her puppies and / or lay on them so we are having to keep them separated and do routine feedings. She has complained very little but if you know Elsie that's just natural.. she might even get that from her momma 😉 But I'm just so proud of the young lady she is becoming. She is not only my daughter, my very first baby, but my best friend and you are so appreciated by mom and daddy Elsie Barton We love you very much 🩶
