Oliver was brought to All Creatures Veterinary Hospital after being found near Tracy Ferry road with injuries consistent with an owl vs. car meeting. He was nursed back to health over several days by Dr. Roux and the ACVH team before being released back into his home territory. It is always a happy day when wildlife is returned to nature.

Today we welcomed Kasey Forton, 4th year DVM student from Mississippi State University, to All Creatures Veterinary Hospital for a 4 week internship. Kasey will be working and learning with our team as they do fantastic things for some amazing animals. Students from multiple universities are very enthusiastic about interning with us because of the huge range of procedures we perform and the unusual variety of species we treat. As a teaching hospital, we get to support them in their educational journey while making new friends and connecting with future colleagues. Welcome to All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, Kasey!

We are so excited for Gaby Gross and so sad to see her leave us! Gaby is attending vet school at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. She has been working with us to broaden her veterinary experience and has been a fantastic teammate and friend to many. Gaby will be an amazing vet and we’re looking forward to watching her progress. Dr. Roux released an owl recently after the ACVH team nursed him back to health. At one point this month, our ICU had 4 owls and a bald eagle all recuperating from injuries. This group is pretty amazing!

She is so happy to be fed and her tail doesn’t stop! She didn’t show any signs of aggression when I went into her kennel while she ate. She’s a darling!

Karma is being medically supervised and is so grateful for everything. She has filled out a little in her week with us, and hair is starting to grow in. She needs someone to love her!
