New puppppy furrriend!! Skeeter is boarding with his sister, Neska the Pyrenees, who knows this place rocks!

Socializing puppies is so important to the overall well being of their future lives. Skeeter will gain confidence from a positive new environment & learn how to properly interact with fellow dogs. And of course, potty training! This is the main reason I charge an additional fee for puppies under 6 months of age. I'm out here way before 6 am for first potty, every 2-3 hours I make sure that puppy is going outside to potty during the day (no matter what the play group schedule is) & last potty is 8 pm. I will not use puppy pads & they are also crated in appropriate size crate, that's how you teach a puppy to hold it until you get them outside. ❤️

Sweet Goldie 😍

She's got some flaky skin issues, so she had a full therapy session today! Skin issues won't get better with a single therapy, it's not magic, it's science! Typically it takes 2 skin cycles (42 days) to get things in a healthier state. What is a skin cycle? Well every 3 weeks there's what's called the keratinization process where the body produces a new layer of skin & pushes the old one to the top. This is why EVERY dog needs to be bathed on a regular basis. There are no exceptions to this process nor is this an opinion, it's a science fact. 🤓

Making reservation requests for current clients is as easy as going to Countrypetplayground.com, logging into the boarding portal & and inputting your dates. I will send you the deposit request within a few hours & once that's paid, your reservation is locked in!

New clients just need to register through portal & upload vaccine information. Once that's done, the meet & wag can be scheduled. If all goes well during that meeting, you can then request boarding reservations.

I will be starting the process of combining the boarding & grooming services back to one company under Country Pet Playground. This will be a process, so please be patient. ❤️

In regards to the portals that you all log into for boarding & grooming, I am waiting for the grooming software company to release the boarding module. I'm hoping that happens by the end of the year. The current boarding software does not have a grooming module that we like. So, there will be 2 different portals until we are able to get both services under one system. I hope this makes sense!

🎉🎉 WINTER SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉🎉

I am really liking the changes I've made in regards to check in & out being offered 7 days a week, from 7-8 am. Despite the ruffled tail feathers of a few, things have been busy, fun & I don't feel so overwhelmed. I have a life now! ❤️

The winter schedule will now be gone & things will run the same all year long! For those who don't understand, last winter I did short term boarding only from Thursday - Sunday because I was feeling extremely overwhelmed & dealing with personal family issues. However, I cannot control the weather especially the ice! We are located almost to the top of our mountain & dirt roads on steep hills with ice sometimes equals not being able to get up to us or us being able to get down! So just remember that when scheduling your trips.

To clarify, the boarding schedule will continue as it is throughout the entire year. ❤️🐕

So, I decided to turn the 2 smaller 3ft x 3ft suites into 1 bigger one. I wasn't a fan of being so limited on who could go in the smaller ones. Now this one is 3ft x 6ft! Much more accommodating & roomy. ❤️🐕
