URGENT: A Loving Home Needed for Susie & Hailey – A Bonded Pair of Gentle Shih Tzus
Meet Susie (8) and Hailey (5) – two sweet, soulful Shih Tzus who have already endured more than any dog should. These gentle girls were heartbreakingly left behind in an empty apartment when their owner moved out. When they were found, they were in rough shape—frightened, neglected, and confused.
Despite the trauma, Susie and Hailey have shown nothing but kindness and resilience. They're now safe and receiving all the medical care they need, but they’re currently stuck in a veterinary hospital boarding facility, scared and unsure in the sterile, noisy environment.
These girls are incredibly bonded, always seeking each other for reassurance and love. They’re also dog and cat friendly, and their sweet nature was on full display during a recent photo shoot—they were calm, cooperative, and oh-so-patient, sitting close and soaking up every bit of love and attention.
What Susie and Hailey need now is a quiet, loving foster or forever home where they can heal in peace and rediscover joy. A soft bed. A kind voice. A lap to curl up in. That’s all they ask.
