Selkirk Kennels is a dog boarding facility, located in Moyie Springs. We strive to make your pets stay with us as comfortable as possible as well as giving the client peace of mind that they are leaving their loving pet in good hands. We also offer full grooming to the pets that are boarded here with us, so they go home smelling and looking great when you pick them up. Prices for boarding are $25

a day for an individual dog and $14 a day for individual cat. there is a price break if you have more than one animal boarding. Feel free to call or visit our website for full pricing info.

It was a very busy and productive weekend😎🌞🐾 we got to spend a lot of time with all these fur babies🐶🐱❤️ And we started on one of our goals for this year! We love it already❤️ We cleared out some of the trees in the big yard, and there is now even more room! The dogs love it, and we do, too! This months pet of the month is our buddy Bandit!🐾 He as you can see is one of our special needs dogs but that does not slow him down at all:) put his wheels on and he is ready to go do whatever it is we are doing for the day:) he loves fetch and the water and loves walks too he also just enjoys sitting outside and watching the world go by. He is one of many favorites we take care of, and he has our heart ❤️ we love Bandit!!!❤️🐾

Have to say this first month of the new year has not disappointed us:) we've had sunshine and a lot! Of pupper dogs🐾🌞 even though it has cooled down a bit, a little sunshine goes a long Way🌞 we have a few announcements. I'll try to keep it short, but you know how that goes. Lol
1. It's the new year, and it's time to check vaccinations on your pups and kitties🐶🐱 wether you think you are boarding them or not, we recommend they go in for their yearly check up:) this is a great time to find out if they need to be updated on vaccines and to also make sure they are continuing to stay in good health:) your vet should be checking heart,ears,eyes, throat, skin,coat, etc.. so make that appointment if they are due for a check up:)
2. Thank you all for participating in helping us pick a color for the lobby:) we will be painting in the next week or two and will post when we are done;) we really appreciate all the input;)
3. We need your help again. We have some changes we will be implementing that will enhance your pets staying with us. What we would love to hear from you is... what would you all like to see added as a service to what we already do? Is there a change of something you'd like to see or something you would like to see us doing? We want to hear from you:) Please comment, and you may see your idea implemented this year at the kennel🐶🐾🐱

We have had a great start to the new year🐾❤️🐾 and taking care of all these fur babies is a huge part of that:) I can't even count how many new furry friends we made in 2024. We are looking forward to making many more in 2025! We have updated the website. Something new we are doing this year will be a news letter to keep everyone up to date on things:) once i have a minute or two to sit and write it:) lol first one will be out this month. The website also has the calendar up for the year for closure days and deep cleaning days each month. We also have a handout we are giving out at the kennel also:) You can go to selkirk kennels.com for any info you may need and sign up for the news letter;) We aren't booking appts through the website, so you will still need to call or message us😊 we love hearing and speaking with you😊 have a great weekend everyone!

We are doing something new this year:) we are collecting coats for kids and adults in need. We will be collecting until Dec 21st. we have a really good start:) Would you like to donate? Maybe you have a coat you haven't worn and is hanging in the closet and is still in great shape:) or maybe you might have some gloves or a winter hat? Bring your donation by or let us know, and we can do a pick-up for you:) These coats will be distributed on the 22nd in the parking area in front of Mt. It's that time again for our pets of the month! It's the last one for 2024! It's very hard to pick just one, so we picked out two goofy,loving,sweet,spunky, exuberant,wonderful pairs of dogs. First, we have penny and piper. These two doodle sisters love each other and, of course, occasionally don't love each other. Lol, they love to play and hang out with each other and really love their people❤️ they have been coming since they were puppies and they can't wait to get out into the play yard when they get here:) though piper ( red) sometimes has a hard time leaving her dad. Once she settles in, she is a blast! We look forward to seeing them every time they come they make our job a joy when they are here❤️ The next pair are Tika and finn:) out of the two Tika has been coming the longest:) i want to say she's been coming for 7 to 8 years now Dotti please correct me if I'm wrong. Lol Finn, I believe it's been 4 years now. They are so much fun, and we get to have them quite a lot;) Tika in the last year has had knee surgeries and has gotten through them like a trooper:) Finn is just happy to be here. He is very laid back and loves to just hang out:) But! there is always a but. Lol, when they want to play, they play hard. Lol, they too make our job easier and a joy;) We love all 4 of them ❤️❤️❤️ cheers to these amazing pups! Who will it be in the new year? Who knows? Stay tuned!

Happy Monday!❄️ it's been a minute since I've posted anything. It's been super busy, and the weekend was full of fluffers🐕🐈‍⬛ We got some Christmas up and made treats for everyone this weekend. Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving 🦃❤️ we sure did! We got to spend the last 4 days and more for some with all these amazing animals🐈‍⬛🐕❤️ Katie got to go do the turkey trot, and Skylar made her first pecan pie. Delish, btw! I spent Thanksgiving for the 26th time at the kennel and had a wonderful dinner at the end of the day with my family❤️ Today ended all the holiday rush until Christmas, and then we start all over again. Lol, it was a gorgeous day today filled with sunshine🌞 colorful sunset, and bright, beautiful snow-covered mountains. We live and work in a beautiful place, and we are so grateful for that🥰 beautifulskies 💕💕
