Intermediate 2 working their STAYS. The 1st exercise was to practice heeling thru the cones with 2 handfuls of treat scattered on the floor. The 2nd, in this video, was to pick them up from the floor while the dogs stayed in a down. Great work by everyone!!!

Walking your pup past other people and dogs can be a real struggle sometimes. At For Pet's Sake will strive to make that a easy endeavor for our students!
Intermediate 2 took class on the road for more real life situations. We went to a local park where many kids were practicing sports and others enjoying the area. Here is a short video of the dogs working their skills while confronted with, at one point, 4 deer!
All the dogs did incredible! The deer were a TOUGH distraction!

Intermediate 2 practicing walking through a crowd! Some of these wonderful dogs are working towards their CGC, some towards their CGCA and a couple that are already TDI certified but use this class to continue to sharpen their skills!
We know the wait to get into the Intermediate classes can be long but we are hoping to make some scheduling changes to offer more soon!!
