This was interesting for me, we did video 55 mins to catch patch in action for his dad however a week prior we used hard correction with a lead WITH the mom ( owner) at my side watching, that was also the first time she was shown his actual cujo behaviors, and it was unpredictable. Now being so smart he remembered i was no nonsence and only made subtle attempts, and one small bite attempt, so sadly dad will never know the truth behind that cute face lol. Im happy with the progress in this short time. Watch patch and his small warnings so it can help you understand a silent warning...♡

I wanted to ease any concern about the respiratory illness going around. I take every precaution with dogs in general, im ocd with cleaning and sanatizing after EACH dog. That includes, table, tub, clipper, brushes and blades. our daycare dogs (4) are the same dogs who have their own areas they never mix with grooming dogs they are the cleaner ones any way lol and NONE go to dog parks or kennels. Lucky for all my clients im a ONE ON ONE stylist and grooms take less then 2 hours, we have vetted our clients and do not say yes to every person wanting to get in, we do not take dogs with fleas or unvaccinated. Im proud saying in all my years in business we have never had one case of kennel cough or other illness attributed to the salon. Bleach, clorox or odo ban coughing possible on sat deep cleans lol but only humans lol.

Now your part....STOP going to dog parks its a swamp of disease....make a friend from tangled and go walk!!!

Keep the nose OFF the ground ! At least until this passes

In larger communities ....stop letting the dogs sniff and be in the faces of eachother...for a while ...

We will be ready to add an enrichment daycare dog in december!! Light basic training avail for recall, leash, potty and crate train. Sit, stay, place. Always morning walks, and organized with mind work during the day :) ..must NOT be dog aggressive. And we prefer a doodle lol just sayin...

Example why some dogs do NOT need ear hair In the canal pulled..and why we DO NOT do it but send you to your trusted vet...internal medicine is not a pet stylist position with your pets...thats like asking your child's hairdresser to treat an ear infection. Left ear the black yeast was pulled a month ago....right just medicated ear wash with a great surface skin clarifying shampoo, and cleaned (no canal hair pulled) with us... stylist who started pulling hair 25 years ago and stopped 10 years ago....because we can save you a vet bill ;)

As the weather gives us a break...remember a few things ....there is a device or "gear" for each time you take your dog out for various reasons. Work, leisure, training, play. Most people it is leisure and that is great! when I walk i use that time to train and because we have a working breed I have a different level of responsibility then my neighbors lab mix on a halti. My greif is off lead dogs who have no recall esp dogs who are unfriendly or dogs being " walked" next to a stroller who nearly pull the stroller over coming at us.
I do not judge anyone until you play games with children being in danger or have a dog off lead who is not 100% in control, then i think you are a complete fool because its dangerous and you really look ..foolish.
....stop with the flexi on a harness or on the halti leads, that is an accident waiting to happen, never have the dog off lead without complete control,

do not decide its 58 deg tonight I will take fido out for a stroll with my babies in a stroller and its been 7 months since the dog seen a sidewalk. Spend 15 minutes a day lead training the dog, you can do it in the house! Stop talking so much, be silent and use your body to control your dog when they are displaying behavioral issues! Last note I'm quite proud of sinatra tonight, he stayed in a heel despite both situations of dogs coming at us pretty hard meaning he trusted me to fix the situation first :) . Also meeting two new strangers and behaving! This time two years ago the senerio would not of been good . I'm seeing my frustrations go away and the progress was evident tonight 🥰 and NOTE WE HAVE BEEN TRAINING FOR TWO YEARS with aggression and reactivity alone. I will ALWAYS help any of my clients with lead training and have them walking perfect in 20 mins!

We are having some issues with our automated post and stories from our Instagram being on here that we never shared, we have a professional working on watermarks and making it more secure , so yes we are open and still running smoothly still accepting new clients and only have 6 on our waiting list!!! I'm going to try my best to make that a zero soon!!! We may have a traveling stylist and friend of mine a few weeks for the holidays!! Pic of my daughters dream horse for attention lol

Not expected...in fact I'm mad she did...lol missed two appointments first ever in 11 years....because she was sick!!! And today walks in with this...also has referred 21 clients in these years who are all still active clients.....I do not negotiate!! BECAUSE I HAVE clients like this !! Appreciate you renee Buchanan you are like family to me! Wayyyyy over board lady!! 🥰
