This supposed sibling duo are definitely quite the pair! The only thing they're have in common is their height 🫣! These 2 were found outside of city limits by a homeowner heading out of town for vacation. Not knowing what to do but wanting to do something, she had her son help keep their bellies full and offered them a dry place just in case they made thier way back. And sure enough......they did!! Now here we are, being thier advocate to find furever homes 🏡🦴😁.

Winston (black) is warm, snuggable and inviting, more apt to offering you a cold drink and snack if you came for a visit. Dakota (longer haried brown)?...... he'll watch you from the other end of the couch and judge you 🤣! More like, he's not completely ready to be vulnerable to snuggles just yet but he is trying and he does love them 😁. Winston and Dakota are very sweet boys and alot of love to give. Dakota can sometimes be a little more apprehensive depending on the day but come in for a visit when they are in thier kennels and every tail is wagging.....even Dakota's 😍. Winston LOVES his pool and likes to lay in the water but you won't find Dakota in the water as much. He'd rather chill somewhere on the sidelines while his majestic mane blows in the breeze watching everything 🙄🤣💅. Both love snacks but are both wise to the bribes, Dakota more so. He has taken up a good bond with one of Barkings volunteers so he will bond with his new family, he just may take a few more minutes than his brother. Their personalities say they should be fine to be adopted separately but going as a pair is never frowned upon 🤭💙💙. Again, they have only been with Barking for a couple of weeks so we're still learning their, likes, dislikes, etc so if you have any questions we're here to answer them the best we can! 2 year old Rogan is currently the longest resident to live in a shelter😞. His story is short. He was picked up by animal control, underweight and about 6-8 months old, thats all we know. No chip and left unclaimed, Rogie has been wormed, vaccinated and UTD on all the things just waiting to go HOME 🏡😁!

Rogan's gorgeous color and sharp features caught by Photographing Furry Faces, Family, & the Forgotten really match his personality.......unique!! He really loves his best friends, Felix and Oreo (who are also available for adoption). They play well together, don't fight over food and really enjoy being outside on nice days. He's doing great on a leash, loves his squeakies and stuffies and doesn't potty in kennel. Rogie's breed is specific and he would love to be in a home with someone who is familiar with the Moutain Cur bloodline. That said, he does not do well with cats. From a distance he is not easily distracted but too close and Mr. Cur will be on the move 🫣. Opposite of that, he loves human interaction with his volunteers. Rogan isn't as energetic as his friend Felix. Sometimes he likes to lay low and chill instead of playing hard. Rogan loves to say hello, so he does jump when he greets you. He is very habitual. He knows his kennel and when Barking has to accommodate for more paws, Rogie will almost insist on bunking with the new guy if they've had to use his kennel 😆! He has learned very quickly how to walk on a leash like a gentleman and almost acts as though he's "clocked in" and ready for direction 💯. If Rogie were human, we'd guess he'd be an adventurist......ready for the next activity, whatever it may be! He also loves his hot dogs snacks 🌭 so if you are looking for 4 paws to share a good bon fired hot dog with, Mr. Rogan (Rogie) Cur is your guy 💙🐾

Oreo has been with Barking for just over a year with no applications 😞. He was found in the parking lot of a vet clinic with no sign of his humans in sight and as hard as they tried they never found them. Oreo has been waiting on his furever family since 🥹💙.

Oreo (Orie) is about 2 years old and has the biggest heart 💙! Barking has gotten to know him really well in the last year. Orie has seen alot of his friends come and go and we're hoping that his time to go HOME is very close🤞. He has had many friends in the last year but his BFF for months was Sarge (pictured below), who was adopted a couple months ago after, also being in the shelter for about a year 🤩! Then he spent a couple months with Ginger (who's also been adopted). Oreo's bright, loveable personality was exactly what she needed to be brought out of her shell. Oreo was patient and not aggressive with her while she decompressed. He completely respected her space and her situation......such a gentleman. His easy going, happy, loving personality is exactly what she needed to gain her confidence and trust. His diet consists of Purina, which agrees with his tummy better than the Pedigree. As you can tell, hes not missed a meal 🐷🫣. Oreo spends his days in the big yard with Felix (GSD) and Rogan (Mt Cur) aka..... The 3 Amigos 😆. Oreo is the biggest and oldest one of the bunch and they've all gotten along so well. This potato of all potatoes is a BIG boy that loves snuggles and pets and would do great in an active home where he can play, walk or run his energy off for those quiet time cuddles. Don't let the high energy full you tho....... after all, he's still a potato 🥔🫣😆. Cats don't bother him, he doesn't potty in his kennel, he's leash trained and he sure does love some hot dog snacks 🌭😁! Oreo is really good about going into his kennel at bedtime and right to the yard for play time. He's a really smart boy and will sometimes ask to stay outside at night if the weather is just right and sometimes he'll opt to come in. After a whole year of being at the shelter Barking has learned to speak his language 🐾. Oreo isn't starved for attention at the shelter but he would surely love to have a home where his family came home every night, where he could sleep on the couch, where he could see your car pull up in the drive way, where he could fall asleep at your feet or know that his human is just a sniff away.
