Wow! 🤩 Our first camp week is already done and it was so much fun! We did everything from barn chores, making homemade horse treats and trail riding to egg and spoon games and learning to bath.

I can’t wait for our camp week in August. There are still spots available!

We are looking for an enthusiastic horse lover to join our private, family run farm in Mullica Hill, NJ to help provide care for our horses!!

This is a great opportunity to learn and gain experience at a top care, full service boarding facility with a successful lesson and show program.

Learn all aspects of equine healthcare, nutrition and barn management.

This position includes general barn chores, feeding, riding, and management of scheduled vet and farrier appointments. Our horses are well behaved and barn runs smoothly with the best clients!

The ideal candidate is a self motivated, hardworking team player with attention to detail, great time management skills and a passion for proper horse care. A working student opportunity could be available to the right person.

"My $3,000 horses stand with my $40,000 horses." "

I had a horse worth $500 that made me $100,000.

I watched a $35,000 horse become a $500 horse after one single X-ray.

I had a mare that sold $180,000, made $107,000, which I bought for $700.

Horses don't know what you paid to acquire them, nor do they know what they earned. But they know how you treat them.

There is not a single horse on our farm that is treated any differently. You can't put a price tag on a soul.

Today, as I walked through my pastures, I stroked the nose of the champions, whose owners let them down. Stressed the noses of horses that could have been champions if they had the chance. I have stroked the noses of mares that produced champions, but whose owners found little value once they reached a certain age.

Today I kissed the noses of babies who someday can become champions if their owners bring them to their full potential.

Horses know no monetary value. They only know if you love and believe in them. So today, when you look at your horse, ask yourself:

Do they know you believe in them?

Our Farm Story

A Bit of Pleasure Farm is a full service boarding, training, and lesson facility. At our farm, we take care of every horse as if they were our own. We strive to take any worry out of boarding and training so you and your horse can experience a more enjoyable time at our farm. Owner and lifetime horse enthusiast, Katie Pratt, cares for the horses and maintains the farm full time.

The main goal of our farm is to provide each horse with excellent care, a beautiful paddock and a relaxing environment to be safe, healthy and of course, happy.

We understand each horses’ needs vary, which is why we have two boarding options; Full board and Choice board. Regardless of your boarding option, we promise you the personalized care each horse deserves.
