Poppy x Nixons puppies are doing great and are chunking up fast!! Male 1 is a short haired wild boar and male 2 is a long haired solid red. They’re both so sweet already and enjoying all the cuddles and attention. We will open up visitation and deposits on these two boys this weekend! Considering it is Easter weekend we will only accept messages and visitation on Saturday at this time! We will have updated pics later but wanted to update on our puppies. Unfortunately our two piebalds have both passed from Poppy’s litter. Poppy was somehow the “lucky” momma to have a rare case of twins with the piebalds. Born sharing the same placenta so neither puppy had optimal nutrients in the womb. We tried our best to formula feed and get them healthy, but our efforts did not win in this case. We thank everyone for understanding and being there for us when we unfortunately lose puppies, these two hit us hard. We’re staying optimistic that this is a one and done situation as, according to our vet, twins are not known to be genetic or fluke accident.

Puppies, puppies, puppies!!! Sunshine’s Shylah Rose x Sunshine’s Nixon Lee are expecting their first litter together!! This will be Shylahs second litter, the first she had 6 puppies, all were different shades of red!! Shylah is a thicker dachshund weighing 13 pounds and all puppies are also heavier, so these will not be super small dachshunds! Puppies will be CKC and come with first shots, deworming, health check, vet records, 6 month congenital health guarantee, and puppy pack. Puppies are expected second weekend in June! Poppy gave us four beautiful puppies, of course she had to have them during the tornados! We have three males and one female! As you can tell, the piebald male is soooo small, so we’re monitoring very closely to ensure he’s getting plenty of food and hope he continues to thrive! The other three are healthy as could be! Momma is doing great, and loving every second of being a mom! Will update later as they get stronger!

Surprise!! We have another litter on the way!! Sunshine’s Lucy Lou x Sunshine’s Nixon Lee are expecting their first litter together! Lucy is a CKC long haired black and tan that has the most boisterous personality! As you can tell, we have a hard time getting any pics of her as she’s always on the move, but will update as soon as we snag one! Nixon (pictured) is an AKC/CKC short haired silver dapple! Nixon has had a previous litter, and also has one due this week, that consisted of a cream, silver dapple, red dapple, and chocolate! Lucy’s dad is a silver dapple as well so fingers crossed for a couple! She also has red, brindle, and chocolate in her line!! Puppies will be expected last weekend in May! I strive to be 100% open about our dachshunds and what to expect when visiting and purchasing. With that said, we are in the process of selling and moving out of our current home, while also making plans for a temporary living arrangement for ourselves and all our animals while we put utilities and begin building on our own land. Therefore, we ask for some grace when making appointments for puppy visits as these appointments may change over time on how we conduct them with all the changes we are going through. We are hoping to build the best facility for our weenies on this new piece of land, but this will take time to complete. Lastly, we will now be located in Gaston, not Muncie. This will all be a big change for everyone involved, but long term will be the best thing for us and our animals! We hope you understand!

With the new litter coming in the next two and a half weeks, I’ve had several inquiries regarding the waiting list and purchase process so I thought I’d make a general post for all present and future puppy parents!

Waiting list for a litter, or specific puppy, is first come first serve. I do not go in order of waiting list to place a deposit. I reach out to everyone on the list at the time we begin accepting deposits and first to place a deposit on a specific puppy gets the puppy. We feel this keeps things fair and moving along so people aren’t waiting days for someone to decide if they want a puppy or not.

Deposits, and puppy visits, start at two weeks of age but due to only allowing visitations on weekends, we accept deposits to the closest weekend now. For example, born Monday to Wednesday, we will accept the weekend prior to two weeks old. Thursday to Sunday we will accept that coming/actual weekend! This keeps things fair for those who want to visit prior to placing a deposit!

If you schedule a puppy visit, I will hold puppy as “pending” until your scheduled time. If you reschedule I will reopen deposits to others just to give equal opportunity. If you no show, we will not offer sale of a puppy to you.

Deposits are nonrefundable!! Unless there is breeder fault, deposit is nonrefundable. If you decide later on you cannot or do not want a puppy, deposit is nonrefundable. With that said, per the puppy contract you cannot rehome or relinquish rights to a shelter, if you cannot house one of our puppiess, we require you to bring them back to us or seek us out to help you rehome!

All puppies are sold as pet only and require a spay/neuter contract unless we agree otherwise which will require additional payment and a breeding contract. This just feels fair for our puppies to ensure they’re going to the best homes, and if being bred, under the correct conditions.

We hope this helps clear up general questions regarding the purchase and agreements of our puppies! We love what we do and want to ensure all puppies, breeder, and puppy parents are well cared for!

I LOVE seeing pics of all our past babies in their forever homes! Obviously this isn’t all of them, and hopefully will be adding a few more pics, but I cannot get over how beautiful they all are! According to all parents, they’re doing great; we’ve got a few stubborn ones, queen bees, and adventurous boys! They all are too cute!! Names and puppy parents attached to each pic!! 🤍

Due to Nixon completing his first litter, we will begin offering stud service with him! Sunshine’s Nixon Lee is a 13 pound long boy. He is a short haired silver dapple! He is dual registered through AKC and CKC. His first litter consisted of the silver dapple, cream, chocolate and tan, and red dapple. His entire lineage is full of so many colors! Vet day today! Due to vet mixup they switched our appointment to today! All puppies did great and passed with flying colors! They didn’t love their nail trim as much, but honestly did great with it! They’re so excited to head to their new homes soon!

They’re here, finally 😂 River x Aces litter is 7 weeks tomorrow and Lennon x Nixons litter is 6 weeks tomorrow! Both litters will go to the vet Saturday for first shots, deworming, and check up! If you can’t tell from these pics, this bunch LOVES to sit in food, throw food everywhere, and eat their puppy pads. I swear they’re always into mischief! We are so sorry for the lack of pics the last two weeks! Getting eight puppies to cooperate is a feat, adding an infant to the mix (who is very clingy) makes it even more difficult. We will try our best to have updated pics this week, but unfortunately cannot make any promises. With that said, we do still have two males available! I will attach pics of the two available (these are previous pics). Again, we do applogize, but hope to get some soon!

Better late than never! River x Aces litter is five weeks old and Lennon x Nixons litter is four weeks old! Both litters are completely weaned and doing great on their puppy food; still messy with it as you can tell these pics are right after breakfast. These two litters will just melt your heart with how sweet and cuddly they are, still very playful, but love to be held and spend quality time with anyone willing! I do still have all four males available; three short haired from Rivers litter and one long haired from Lennons litter. Come and snag one of these cuties! 🐶
