Last week, we told you about Lola who was surrendered with her sister because their owner felt she could not care for them adequately. This update is about her sister Lyla who was adopted by Lucius and family.

"She is doing great, I got a report this morning that says she was "being a twerp" from my daughter. She loves nerf darts, sleeping UNDER the blankets, laying in my wife's lap and sleeping with the kids. We did change her name to Willow.

She loves the girls, and my wife, she torments me relentlessly at 6am with her love of marbles. Little twerp fits in perfectly."

Handsome Koda, now Ace, practically jumped into his Mommy's arms to go to his new home!!! He has furry siblings to play with in his new yard!! We are so happy for him and wish him a very happy, loved life.

Jefferson has his very own home and family to love!! This sweet boy was a stray kitty who tried and tried to go inside of every home he came to for help. He absolutely loves people and is thrilled to have a home and a family from this day forward!! Congratulations, Jefferson, and thanks to your new family for making you a part of their family!!

They came from different litters, but Flax and Rosette will be forever siblings now!! They have a lovely new family to pamper and spoil them from this day forward!! We love it when kittens get to go home together and we are sure these two will give their new family years of fun, laughter and love. Thank you so much for adopting!!

Please remember to keep fresh water available for all animals!! Every single life matters and should be cared for with kindness.

Mya's sweet new family is so excited to see if she likes to go swimming!! It sure is a good day for her to find out!! She was so happy to go home with them she was wiggling with joy!! We are sure she and her three human siblings are going to have a very fun ☀️ summer and lifetime together!!

We were just contacted by the groomers at Lucky Dog Salon that if these two are adopted together, and brought for regular maintenance grooms, they will receive 50% off grooms for their lifetime at Lucky Dog Salon! (Regular maintenance grooms does mean you can’t let it go 6 months or a year and expect a half price groom!)

This is quite generous of them, and means your monthly or every other month groom will only cost you what it would to own one doodle. Dog owner math means it just makes good financial sense to adopt both!

Lola was surrendered to ARF by a woman who decided she wasn't in a position to be the best owner and wanted Lola and her sister to have a better life. We appreciate when owners are cognizant of their inability to provide the best possible home and are willing to be selfless enough to make a decision like this. Trent adopted her and recently shared:

"She has been great! We kept the name Lola, I could not believe how fast she settled in and accepted her new home. My kids love her to death and she loves to play especially with her tunnel and chase her tail. Her favorite spot seems to be our enclosed front porch just watching everything outside. She has been the perfect addition to our family."

Thank you to Lucky dogs grooming salon for working in our two adoptable doodles, Pippa and Rooney who were recently surrendered. Not only did they work them in quickly, they donated the grooms! Thank you Lucky dogs! Lucky Dog Salon Muncie

We have a pair of doodle mixes that will be looking for a home together. Pippa and Rooney are six year-old and eight year-old doodle mixes, Rooney. The tan colored male is a golden doodle, and Pippa is a brindle St. Bernard poodle mix. Roni weigh in around 55 pounds and Pippa is around 65 pounds so they could both stand to put on a couple pounds. We did have to shave them down, in any potential adopters need to be aware of the maintenance of a doodles coat and the expense it takes to groom them with a groomer every 2 to 3 months, sometimes more frequently! They are wonderful dogs, but do require frequent rooming and upkeep on their coats. We had both dogs updated on their vaccinations, both dogs tested negative for Heartworms, had a f***l parasite screening, which showed no parasites, and have been started on their flea and heartworm medication. They will be microchip before being adopted. The dogs are already spayed neutered. If you are looking for a pair of calm, well behaved dogs look no further! Roni and Pippa would love a home together. The adoption fee on adult dogs is usually $200 per dog, however, since we are hoping to find them a home together, we have reduced this to $300 total.
