This handsome old man is Nash. He injured his CCL (similar to an ACL injury in humans) and already had arthritis, so he was unable to walk. He has been seeing us for twice weekly laser therapy sessions, and this morning, he walked into our lobby for his appointment!

We are so proud of Nash for the progress he’s made, and Nash’s mom for her dedication to him! ❤️

We are looking for dog walkers here at MACS!! It's well known that exercise through dog walking is beneficial to canines, especially shelter dogs who spend a lot of their time here in their kennels. This also provides enrichment and relief from the stress of a loud shelter environment. If you're interested in becoming a MACS dog walker, please come visit us Mon-Fri. 1:30p.m.-4:30 p.m. and help us give our shelter canines some fresh air and change of scenery. Great places for walking include Minnetrista, BSU campus, and the Cardinal Greenway. We also have play yards at the shelter where our dogs can run and play as well. Please share!! Must be 18+ or have an adult with you. Please call to schedule a time or just stop in to walk one of our amazing shelter dogs!
