If you have noticed your dog having a hard time getting around, we're here to help!! We have several different options to help with chronic arthritis pain and one of them is SynovetinOA.

The holiday season is here!! We have pet safe kits that include a can of food, a bag of dry food, a toy, and treats for your pet to also enjoy the holidays. There is an option to include a candle or your choosing as well!!

November is National Pet Diabetes Month 🐾

Did you know that just like humans, pets can develop diabetes? Diabetes is a lifelong condition that affects approximately 1 in 300 dogs and 1 in 230 cats. Diabetes affects their ability to produce or respond to insulin, which prevents the conversion of food into energy. This leads to extra sugar in the bloodstream resulting in lethargy and other health issues such as increased thirst, frequent urination, and changes in appetite.

The Diabetes PetCare Alliance is offering owners of newly diagnosed diabetic pets a free Diabetes Management Kit from November 1st - December 31st which includes one AlphaTrak 3 Blood Glucose Monitoring System, one 10mL vial of Vetsulin, and one 6lb bag of Purina species specific diet. The Diabetes PetCare Alliance is a partnership between Merck Animal Health, Zoetis, Nestle Purina PetCare, and veterinary professionals.

This week, October 13th-October 19th, is National Veterinary Technician Week 🐾 Veterinary technicians are critical to the day to day functions of Muncy Vet Center and play viral roles in preserving animal health and welfare.

We value our technicians every day of the year, however during this week we honor their commitment to compassionate and highly quality veterinary care for all of the cats and dogs they see at Muncy Vet Center. Their compassion and care also extends to our patient's owners too.
