Wow, what a busy weekend! Birthday party, lots of transplanting for our plant sale, lots of direct sowing and transplanting into pots for our own use, chalk paintings, grilling, etc...

Onions, chives, brassicas, cilantro, Cuban oregano, basil, lettuces, peppers, and a whole lot more. It was nice to have an extra warm and sunny day to get things done. Now for the crazy storm we're supposed to have tonight 🥴

What did you get done this past weekend? What Makes You Buzz? (Nothing productive is a good answer if anyone was able to get in some R&R 🤗)

Deliveries will be $3 flat per order and per stop, within six miles of our location. Preorders require 50% deposit via Zelle or PayPal which is applied to your order upon receipt. Deposit is lost if orders are not picked up on the date specified. If your order can be sold to someone else, we may apply your deposit to your future order within six months of deposit payment.

Shipping is not available at this time.

Ok here's the Cookie post! They'll be available tomorrow Saturday from 11am until 5pm. I'll have a cooler out under my carport with labeled boxes of cookies and you can take as needed. Please leave money in the glass jar inside the cooler. These will only be available as listed below to keep things organized. Please let me know if you'd like me to set one aside for you!

All of our cookies are baked using sourdough starter, which is a natural way of leavening your baked goods. It's fermented, which means it's also known to be gut healthy. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. These items are made in our home kitchen and can contain any of the common and uncommon allergens.

The closest (without going over) and WINNER is Mary Ann Rouse with the guess of 250! We started a grand total of 252 seeds last week and we already have over 99 seeds germinated! WooHoo! -One guess per person per day, which means you have THREE chances to win!

Yay, it's a day without snow and WITH SUN! 🤣 Kind of a funny thing to think in late March and the beginning of Spring, amiright?! Well maybe not here in Chicago where we get 30 degrees and snow, tornadoes, 79 degrees, torrential downpours, thunderstorms, and wildfires all in one week 😬 But hey, it's almost planting season and that's all that counts, right?! 🤔

Anyhoo, with planting season comes our annual Spring Plant Sale!!! WooHoo!

This year we'd like to start taking pre orders as soon as possible. This way, we know what to plant and how much. We'll have a more accurate list soon, but here's a taste to give you an idea:

*Tomatoes in a variety of sizes, colors, and flavors
*Peppers ranging from mild to super hot from us, and more to come from Hothouse Peppers
*Herbs like Basil, Mint, Lemon Balm, Thyme, Chives
*Cucumbers
*Melons
*Squash
*Brassicas like Collard Greens, Broccoli, and Cabbage
*Lettuce Gardens with varieties like Arugula, Paris Island Cos, Buttercrunch, and more
*Flowers like Calendula, Celosia, and Borage

*Garden Plants like Lily of the Valley and Day Lily

As usual, I'm probably forgetting a bunch, so a more accurate list will be available in the coming weeks. Our plant sale is planned for Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-26.
