We haven’t made a final decision on whether to continue breeding or not. We will keep you updated as we go through these changes. Currently I am going through many personal changes. I absolutely love dogs and breeding service quality puppies is still a passion. I just can’t raise high quality puppies right now.
If you are in the market for a beautiful poodle or doodle. The rescue has dogs currently in need. www.michiganstandardpoodlerescue.com

Thank you all for staying with us even while we don’t have any breeding dogs. As we go through this time of change.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I know we are a page about poodles but I am going to take a turn here. My mom has an amazing 7 month old puppy who may be the best service dog prospect I have seen in awhile and he is not a poodle.
I would like to introduce you all to Tucker. He is a 7 month old pyredoodle. He is the most outgoing, happy and trainable dog I have met in awhile. I spent 15 minutes on a walk with him and he picked up on how to heel in less than 2 minutes. I am helping her train him and I can say it is a pleasure. I absolutely am blown away with the cross and with how well he is taking his training. He is an amazing pup and I can't wait to get him out and working more.

Waitlist is open for 2022 litters. We are planning on breeding Georgie to a stud male named Rip. He weighs just under 50 pounds. He is Embark tested and has had his hips evaluated by Pennhip. He has a wonderful temperament and we plan to breed this beautiful pair soon as Georgie comes into heat. Lucy will be bred later next year.

I know we have people on both sides of the argument on this page. That is not what this post is for. I have been studying merle since our last litter that had merle. Merle carries no more health issues than any other colors if the breeder is not responsible. No one can find where the merle first started in poodles and so I am more inclined to agree that it was hidden and culled in poodle lines. Same as so many of the other colors we know and love. With red, cream, apricot, white, and sable all hiding the merle gene it would be easy when breeding many generations of red to then outcross to a different color and end up with new colors, phantom, merle, sable, and brindle. Parti was even culled for years. Merle is here to stay in poodles and I may breed some merles as they are beautiful dogs and a lot of them have better and more stable temperaments than I have found in some other colors. In saying that I will always genetic test my breeders to make sure we don't double merle. If you have questions or just want to talk about our dogs or yours please message me. I am always up for talking about dogs. And I hope you all have a great day.

Hello fellow dog lovers, I hope you are doing well and staying safe. This is Allison Bellairs messaging you all. We have taken time off from breeding and it was a very good thing for us and our household. I have had a lot of things go on since we last had puppies and I wasn't sure I wanted to keep breeding. We had trouble finding the dogs we wanted to breed. I lost my heart for raising puppies and for poodles. We had trouble with other breeders and I wasn't sure I wanted to ever deal with a breeder again. But I am looking at coming back. I have a better setup and new energy. Same goal in mind for my program as before getting even and calm temperaments in a breed that has taken color and looks over temperament. And look for healthy well structured dogs same as we have in the past. And I have seen real promise in both females I have at my home. Given the health evaluations come back clear on Georgie we will be breeding her first. She is 33 pounds. Shows a lot of confidence and drive toward any task we ask her to do. She shows great structure even though she is a finer build than my other female but she will produce the smaller puppies that some people want/need.
