We are so excited for this update! Rocky, the injured kitty at Martins Home and Garden, has been adopted by the wonderful family that has nursed him through his recovery. We’re so happy that he gets to live a happy life safe indoors! Thank you to everyone who donated for his care and especially to for always coming through for our community!

2 of the sweetest girls went home today! Both Sunny and Cherry have been super popular for their extremely affectionate personalities. They were almost always in someone’s lap! Carrie and her husband could not resist adding these darlings to their family! We will surely miss them but are so happy for them! 🥰

Kramer is such a special boy! If you’ve been to the cafe recently he likely either hugged you or hopped on your back or shoulders. He is such a good boy but is overstimulated at the cafe and has started to bully some of the shy cats. Initially I think he just wants to play but then it turns into a scuffle when that desire is not mutual! He would be an awesome only cat to someone that could give him lots of love and attention but also appreciate he has boundaries. Not good with dogs or small children. He will be going back to his foster tomorrow for a break from the cafe but it would be such a blessing for someone to come adopt him today! ❤️🙏

I can not really stress what an accomplishment this is and how far Izzy has come since she first came to us over a year ago! She is much more tolerant of the other kitties now but this was a first! This is my beautiful Gracie girl. She’s not at the cafe so you cant adopt her! But sometimes when she’s bad I do threaten to take her! Haha. I would never give up my Queen though. Update on the little white kitty found in a box this weekend. We’ve named him Nimbus. 😻 He had his first round of vetting and was neutered yesterday and went to his new foster today! He settled in quickly and is doing great! Thanks to everyone that donated to help with his care.

This handsome boy was found in a box out in the rain. 😭 We don’t have a foster so he is currently in emergency boarding at AMC and that is expensive! If you can foster please complete the application in the comments. If you can donate towards his care please do. Rutherford County Cat Rescue is in dire need of community support right now. 🙏

Welcome to Catfeine, a Cat Cafe in Murfreesboro...the heart of Middle Tennessee! What is a cat cafe? Don't worry... there are no cats in the kitchen, or purristas making your coffee! We're actually not a restaurant at all! A Cat Cafe is a cozy lounge where you can enjoy local roasted coffee and yummy baked goods in the company of adoptable cats from local shelters and rescue organizations. We act as a foster home and provide a safe haven that allows the cats to live in a clean, safe, loving environment where they can be socialized and adopted. This gets them out of cages, off the streets, and into the hearts and furever homes of great people...like you! Time can be purchased by the hour in the lounge to hang out with kitties. Our cafe vibe is laid back, cozy and relaxing; therefor we have a minimum age requirement of 7 to enter the cat lounge. We only allow up to 12 guests per hour, so if you know when you plan to visit please book online to ensure you can get in! Hope to see you soon!

Our purrpose is simple...we want to make a positive impact on the lives of cats in need, the people who need them, and the community we live in.
